Don’t think there is enough good words to say about our Octobers employee of the month.

Lyn !! 🏆🏆

Lyn goes above and beyond always shes cannot do enough for the people she cares for. Lyn was the lead on clearing the gentleman’s flat and getting him new furniture. She’s an all round good woman and a much loved member of the team.

Bit of a begging post,

The gentleman who’s house we cleared out in LS9 we are struggling to dispose the furniture removed it’s currently outside his flat if anyone knows of anyone who would be willing to help us out to dispose of these items we would really appreciate it. The man can pay but he doesn’t have a lot of money.

Just anyone who can help please reach out the gentleman is at risk of getting a fine from housing for something out of his control 😔

One thing about us is we love a reason to dress up !!

Today Steph, Katie and Charlene from office went out trick or treating round our service users suprising the staff and dropping off lucky bags.

Everyone’s had a good laugh today and eaten way too much sugar!! What’s team we have ❤️❤️❤️

Later than planned but congratulations to Septembers Employee of the month Nasrin !!

Nasrin recieved her employee of month entry for always giving a high standard of care as evidenced by her statistics that measure call duration, punctuality, notes and safe medication administration. Although the statistics are the reason Nasrin received the entry it’s not the only reason we feel she’s a asset to Meridian, Nasrin is loved by all staff and service users she’s a team player and always gets the job done. ❤️

So in a full circle moment one of our lovely service users sadly passed away recently and his family were happy to donate his furniture and carpets to someone in need and offered to a neighbour. The neighbour just happened to be another one of our service users.

This lovely man had had a difficult few years with ill health and really needed this boost. Our lovely carer Lyn had already done so much to build trust and get him to let us help that we today made his house in to a home.

So happy with what we have managed to do for this gentleman and I really hope he has a comfortable warm sleep in a bed for the first time in a long time.

A huge thank you to the family who donated this furniture and made a gentleman’s dream of having his own home true❤️❤️

Also thank you to the “changing rooms” team today Steph, Lynn, Katie, Nathan and Charlene.

Welcome to our new page 🎉🎉.

If your not a long time followers of our previous page I’ll provide a little back story. We are Meridian health and social care Leeds and we are a CQC registered domiciliary care company based in Leeds. We provide care for Adults over the age of 18 who require support in their own home.

Meridian has actually been a long term fixture in Leeds but just last year they purchased another well established company Esteem care and the two have now merged. This has been a long process and a lot has changed for Meridian over the last year the main points being the office address and office team which was brought over from Esteem.

We will be doing a meet the team over the next few weeks so you can all get to know who we are and how we work. The page can also keep you all updated with the great work our team complete and show you the positive impact they have off our services users.

If you or someone you love require assistance at home with upkeep of personal hygiene, domestic duties, mobility, attending social events, medication administration, 24 hour respite care, day or night sitting service or shopping call please call the office on 01133202222 open Monday to Friday 9-5 we can chat through options and provide a free at home assessment.
