Most people think of life clarity as just 'the paperwork.'

But it's four things.

And the two most overlooked are often the ones that matter most when it counts.

Three months after my hysterectomy, I'm still not back to normal. And I think that needs to be said out loud.

Before my surgery, I was told 6–8 weeks. I'm writing this at fourteen weeks — still swollen every afternoon, still building my days around lying down, still figuring out what my body needs.

I've written about it honestly. The week I tried to walk too soon and set myself back. The theme park birthday I managed for half a day. The maternity jeans I've had to buy because a normal waistband still isn't possible. The things I only found out from Facebook groups — not leaflets, not my surgeon.

If you're in the middle of this — or heading towards it — I hope it helps to know that recovery is not a straight line. And you are not behind.

The one who quietly holds it all together.

This is for you.

“All the world’s a stage.” Shakespeare wrote that over 400 years ago. But right now, it has never felt more true.

Since COVID, something quietly shifted in all of us. We stopped assuming we had unlimited time. We started asking harder questions.

This June, JINC is exploring one of the biggest ones — are you living the life you actually want, or just the one that happened to you?

You're the one who knows where everything is.

The bills. The passwords. The policies. The school letters. The insurance renewal. The boiler service date.
All of it. Living in your head.

What if it didn't have to? 🌿

JINC is a beautifully guided journal for everything your household needs to know — all in one calm, physical place. Not an app. Not a spreadsheet. Something you can actually share.

Only 100 in this first run. Link in bio to find yours.

A half-term truth: the most memorable bits are usually free.

A pile of cushions on the floor. The kitchen table cleared for drawing. A walk to the post box together. The journal on the side, ready for a few new lines this evening.

Slow weeks count too. 🌿

Does life admin ever feel like it has no end?

The renewals, the documents, the subscriptions you've forgotten about, the passwords — it's not that any one thing is difficult. It's that there are so many of them, and they live in your head until you do something about it.

We've put together a thoughtful guide on the blog — covering why household admin has genuinely got harder, what it quietly costs when it slips, and a simple place to start tonight.

Read it below...

Spring bank holiday Monday. A long week ahead with the children at home.

We're keeping things slow this side too — orders will go out from Wednesday. If you order today, your journal will be on its way before half-term ends. 🤍

Wishing you a soft start to the week.

The things that hold a family together are rarely the big dramatic moments.

They’re the quiet details.
The routines.
The information only one person seems to carry.

JINC was created to gently bring those details together in one calm, guided place — not from fear, but from love.

Because clarity is a form of care.

🌿 Thoughtfully prepared. Just IN Case.

A small life-admin tip.

The single most-asked question after someone passes is: 'where did they keep their —?'

Not the will. Not the bank. The little things. The car log book. The vet's number. The Wi-Fi password. The neighbour's spare key. The story behind the photo on the mantelpiece.

Write ten of those down this week. Anywhere. (We just made it easier — link in bio.) 🌿
