Good news, we have completed our first show garden for Charles Church! ✨

Last month, the whole GS team was proud to attend the official opening of The Lodge @ Sketchley Park in Burbage. We met with members of Charles Church’s sales and senior management teams as well as aspiring house hunters to celebrate the unveiling of the show home and garden.

“Our original brief was to include secluded sunken seating, an area for dining, and an outdoor kitchen,” explains our director, Claire Hibbert. “We achieved this by creating various ‘zones’ within the garden, which also enabled us to make the most of the outdoor space. We then added features to appeal to children, couples and families, ensuring room for different activities and hobbies, from grilling and entertaining to playing, gardening and relaxing. To see house hunters interact with these spaces and hear such amazing reactions at the launch was a wonderful occasion.”

Did you know our garden design service includes bespoke projects?

This is a handmade cleft chestnut fence we’ve just installed in Kirkby Mallory. Our brief was to create a distinctive feature along the boundary, enabling the client to still enjoy their views across the stunning Leicestershire countryside.

Our client, Jake, told us how pleased he is with the result. Jake said: “I am so happy with the cleft chestnut fencing supplied by Garden Sense! It really gives our garden a rustic feel, especially with the natural curves of the wood. The installation was very easy too, all round a great service from Garden Sense.”
