Christmas on the 2nd June might have you wondering.... but I'm sure if you're not quite ready yet, that you will have certainly thought about it if you are in the hospitality biz.

Yesterday's wall menu handwritten for long term clients Tim and Jorja at The Queen's Head. Swipe for the before and the during!

Signs like this are always worked out on site without prior notice. It's a lot of mental maths and ensuring everything will fit, and a lot of chalk but it's worth it to see it all complete!

Loved being back at Wintertons to add some brightness to the window. It's always a fun afternoon with some lovely chats along the way.

Adding seasonal decoration to the window is the ultimate invitation to open that door!

Floral window doodling and lettering is right up my street, now taking bookings for mid May onwards, with pricing starting at £150, DM with your ideas for a quote!

Challenging times.....when the client comes to you and says "can you write like this font"

So, I gave it a go to *not* to write joined up and with an added traditional style serif. Yes it was a challenge, but I'm pleased (and so are Ange and Tim) with the results. The added swirls and leaves are part of their new logo.

The Sitwell Arms, Horsley Woodhouse has recently been taken over by landlord Tim (also of The Queen's Head in Little Eaton) and new manager Ange. The breakfast was absolutely EPIC and fuelled me through all their new signs. Great to see the pub busy after only being open a week!

Thanks for entrusting me with this new style and for breakfast too! Yum!

A new set of menu chalkboards for Meg-a-cakes and I really love these ones for the gold frames!

A bit of a challenge spacing-wise to get all of their options on the board but all worked out in the end.

The best smelling shop in Derbyshire - Lisa owns Soapary which sells so many lovely things! Candles, bath salts, the best hand cream and of course soap (plus so much more). I love how she takes her inspiration from her allotment and it's all to bring wellbeing and calm whilst using all natural ingredients.

This made my day this morning. Always a warm welcome from Louise and Mark at The Sun Inn and a fab coffee made on Mark's pride and joy - his coffee machine!
