The idea for Of Life & Lemons was born at the same time as creator Angie Freese's first child. "Caffeinated up to the eyeballs and slightly delirious from lack of sleep I came across the quote 'Given Enough Coffee I Could Rule the World'. It was so apt given my situation, I realised how a quote could speak to you and lift your spirits so I started designing prints around any that I found humorous

or uplifting". The result is an emporium of poster perfection, and a constant reminder to always look on the bright side. The range is currently being expanded into textiles such as tea towels and tote bags for an extra dose of cheeky delight. Angie gained a Fine Art degree from the University of East London and settled in London working in art publishing before returning to her Essex roots to raise a family. Now living in sunny Leigh on Sea, Angie designs the prints around looking after her two young children and indulging in her love of nineties indie bands.

Our personalised train ticket keyrings can have the quote across the middle changed making them perfect for any occasion. I LOVE seeing the heart warming, thoughtful and sometimes downright rude words people choose to show someone they care but this one stopped me in my tracks (excuse the pun…). How cute is this? What a lovely way to send someone off to to big school, something they can carry with them every day and always know that Dad thinks they’re a legend. Anyway must go..I seem to have something in my eye 😭

Hi 👋 Remember me? It’s been a while, that’s because my rather useless social media manager (me) has been too busy watching Wimbledon and The World Cup to actually post on social media. Who thinks she needs firing? 🙋‍♀️

I have, however, still been designing and adding products to the site while watching the sporting marathon that has been July, including these funny car air fresheners complete with a eucalyptus scent to guarantee your car feels as fresh as a daisy, even if you don’t. Just in time for the glorious sunshine we have these new ladies tees for those of you who, like me, seem to be perpetually winging it, achey and putting off all problems until further down the road. Everything can be a tomorrow problem right?

I had a whole load of photos of new products done last week and I’ve been soooo busy with Father’s Day I haven’t had a chance to upload them. I threw a few of these mugs on quickly but stay tuned for lots of new compact mirrors, coasters and T-shirts 👀

I’m equally busy this week what with staff holidays (rude…) but I hope to add a few new each evening 🤞

I got a request for our ‘Coffee and Klarna’ design on a t-shirt so I sourced these lovely slightly off white, organic cotton tees and they’re so nice! Really soft and a nice shape, a bit more boxy than our Christmas tees. What do you think, is it a go-er? Worth putting them on the site? It also got me thinking about our other designs and whether they’d make good t-shirts. I’ve got my eye on a ‘Wake & Wince’ one as that is me EVERY DAY at the moment, groaning as I discover which muscle or joint is going to give me grief today 😂
