Back to School advice for parents:
As we fast approach the time of year were our beautiful children return to School after the holidays and we are all so quick to post adorable photos of our most cherished possessions in life, please take into consideration that the photos you share may contain key information that a predator will utilise to conduct surveillance and potentially abduct your child. Here are a few key tips to keeping your child safe whilst still sharing wondering memories;
1. Don't tag your child's clothing with their name or address where it is visible to the public.
2. When sharing photos of your child in their uniform, blur or blank out their school emblem.
3. Never name the school your child attends.
4. Try and refrain from taking photos in locations nearby the child's school that could identify the school.
5. Always be vigilant for strangers hanging around the perimeter of the school. If you don't recognise someone at the school and grow suspicious of the person, it's better to bring it to the schools attention.
