As the year comes to a close, and we all start to slow down, we just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's supported, followed, recommended, worked with, or chosen Jennetts HR Solutions.

As we wrap up another incredible year, now working with over 80 businesses nationwide, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our clients who have been with us since day 1, our new clients who have engaged our services during 2025, and to all of our partners who we continue to enjoy working closely with.

We will be taking a short break over the festive season to recharge and spend time with loved ones and will be back on 6 January 2026, refreshed, and ready to bring you all the updates which will be delivered through The Employment Rights Act 2025. There are over 28 employment law changes due to be phased in over the next two years, so it is important as a business you remain aware and compliant.

As always, if you do need us over the festive period, you can make contact, and we will do our best to get back to you at the earliest opportunity.

June is a special month for Jennetts HR Solutions - this month we officially turn 6!

6 years ago, I would have never imagined how far this would go, what began with just an idea, and a whole lot of passion, has turned into something I am so incredibly proud of. Every year tells a part of our story. A story built on trust, late nights, lessons learned, and relationships we truly value.

Today we also hit a huge milestone -1000 invoices sent - that is 1000 times we have been trusted to help leaders lead better, teams work smarter, and workplaces become more human.

Behind every invoice is a conversation, a challenge, a breakthrough - and most importantly to us, a relationship.

It would not have been possible without you - our amazing clients, collaborators, and supporters - your trust, loyalty, and support have helped us grow, innovate, and continue doing what we love.

Whether you have been with us since day one or just found us recently, you have helped make this possible, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Yesterday I attended and Employment Law & Recruitment update seminar hosted by Wilkin Chapman Solicitors and Hays. Thank you Oliver Tasker, Ruth Hardy, and all other speakers!

As always the seminar was fantastic and covered what the new Employment Rights Bill means for businesses and how to combat recruitment challenges most businesses are currently faced with!

Whilst a lot of the employment law changes will not come into force until Autumn 2026, there is still lots which can be done ahead of this to prepare and stay ahead of the changes!

The Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023 will place a duty on employers to take “reasonable steps” to prevent sexual harassment of their employees from 26 October.

Under the change in legislation, the Equality and Human Rights Commission has power to take enforcement action where there is evidence of organisations failing to comply with the preventative duty. This does not depend on an incident of sexual harassment having taken place.

This new duty, which applies regardless of whether, as an employer, you have experienced complaints of sexual harassment. Anticipatory in its application, under the new duty you are required to foresee scenarios when your workers may be subject to sexual harassment in the course of their employment and take pre-emptive action to prevent harassment from taking place.

Some preventative measures which you as managers and business owners should consider and look to implement include risk assessments, a review and update of existing policies, or creation of a policy if you do not currently have this in place, and staff awareness and training - if this is something you would like further advice or support with, please get in touch!
