STAIRs isn’t just a website publishing exercise.
From 1 October 2026, private registered providers will need to meet the first phase of the Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements.
The real implementation challenge may sit behind the scenes:
• Where is the information held?
• Who owns it?
• How easily can it be retrieved?
• How will requests, timescales and decisions be tracked?
• What happens when information sits with suppliers or across multiple systems?
This could reach far beyond the website into process, systems, data, governance and resident services.
