Negative thinking 🖕
Mornings are my worst time for negative thoughts, and it's getting more frequent. My inner voice telling me of all the scenarios that can go wrong during the day and in life.
If a friend was talking to me like that they would get punched in the throat! 🙈
It takes me until around 8.30am to get my s**t together and put things in perspective!
Maybe I should just stay in bed until then and bypass the battle of my mind!
Anyone else not a morning person with their mindset 🙃
Here's a picture of a squirrel to help break state! 😁

Finding Calm in the Chaos!

Just come back from a family walk. Nothing fancy—just some fresh air in nature, good conversation, and time together. It reminded me how important it is to pause, even when life feels busy.

Overwhelm has a way of creeping in when we’re constantly running at full speed, juggling tasks and responsibilities. It’s easy to think we don’t have time to slow down, but sometimes the best way to move forward is to stop, breathe, and reset.

That walk didn’t solve every problem or tick anything off my to-do list, I've still got to finish my website amongst other tasks 🙈 but it gave me clarity.

It reminded me that balance isn’t about doing everything; it’s about knowing when to step back and focus on what really matters.

What’s one small thing you do to reset when life feels overwhelming?

I can't do this!!!

I've said that many a time, and I still do!
Doubting myself, telling myself I'm not good enough, I've missed out on opportunities that I should have grabbed with both hands.

Through my coaching and NLP journey, I identified that these were limiting beliefs, and they were not serving me.

These limitations came in different guises, and ranged from procrastination to believing I can't or I'm not good enough.

Here are 5 tips for identifying a Limiting Belief

1. Pay Attention to Negative Self-Talk
Notice recurring thoughts like "I can't," "I'm not good enough," or "This will never work." These phrases often point directly to a limiting belief.

2. Look for Patterns in Your Behavior
Reflect on situations where you procrastinate, avoid action, or feel stuck. Ask yourself, What belief might be driving this behavior?

3. Challenge Automatic Assumptions
When you catch yourself assuming something is impossible or out of reach, pause and ask: Is this a fact, or just a belief I’ve accepted as true?

4. Examine Fear or Resistance
If you’re avoiding something important, dig deeper. Fear of failure, rejection, or success often stems from a limiting belief about your abilities or worthiness.

5. Listen to Your Excuses
Excuses like "I don’t have enough time" or "I’m too old for this" can signal deeper beliefs. Question them: What’s the real reason I feel this way?

By identifying these beliefs, you take the first step toward challenging and replacing them with empowering ones.

Your Inner Voice Shapes Your Success!

Did you know that the way you talk to yourself can make or break your journey as an entrepreneur?

Think about it:

Are you encouraging yourself, or tearing yourself down?

Do you say, “I can figure this out,” or “I’ll never get this right”?

Here’s the truth: Your self-talk sets the tone for how you show up in your business and life.

One of the biggest mindset shifts we can focus on is transforming negative self-talk into empowering conversations.

For example:
“I’m not good enough” → “I’m learning and improving every day.”
“I always mess things up” → “Mistakes are part of growth.”

Try this: Next time you catch a negative thought, ask yourself, Would I say this to a friend? If not, it’s time to rewrite the script.

Your turn: What’s one empowering statement you’ll use to boost your self-talk today? Drop it in the comments below! ⬇️

🚀 Taking Action: The Game-Changer for Entrepreneurs Over 40

Happy New Year everyone 🎊🎉

When I work with overwhelmed entrepreneurs, one of the first things I help them do is shift their mindset from “What if I fail?” to “What small step can I take today to get to where I want to be?”

Taking action doesn’t mean you need all the answers or the perfect plan. It can mean taking that small step, such as sending that email you’ve been putting off, showing up for your community even when you’re not 100% ready, or challenging the belief that it’s “too late” to build something amazing.

I’ve seen clients completely transform their businesses simply by taking one step at a time—paired with the right mindset.

I have taken massive action myself of late, and have exciting projects coming soon 🤗

So, what action will you take today to move closer to your goals? Share it below! ⬇️ Let’s keep each other inspired and accountable.

When facing fear, it's powerful to view it as a signal rather than a barrier. Understanding the emotions and thoughts behind it can provide valuable insights into what you truly want and need. By looking at fear directly, you’ll often uncover underlying worries, like fear of rejection or failure, which can then be addressed more specifically.

Recognizing the cause of your fear helps dissolve some of its power, making it easier to confront.

Breaking your challenge into smaller, actionable steps can help too. Fear can seem overwhelming when you look at an entire goal or change at once. Taking small, consistent actions toward what you fear can help build momentum. Each step forward creates a sense of accomplishment, gradually diminishing fear's hold on you.

Finally, reframing fear as a tool for personal growth can shift your mindset entirely. Instead of viewing fear as something to avoid, consider it as a sign of growth—a signal that you're stepping beyond your comfort zone. This perspective helps you build resilience, as you’re not just facing fear but transforming it into an experience that fosters your development. Embracing fear in this way empowers you to view it as a teacher, guiding you toward new possibilities and personal breakthroughs.

Hey Professionals & Entrepreneurs!

Is the thought of the start of a new week filling you with dread! Feelings of overwhelm that you have so much to do, and not enough hours to do it in!
Don’t worry, the week will soon be over, and it will soon be Sunday again, with the same feelings of overwhelm and dread!

I've got a few tips for you to help you break this cycle and start your week with purpose!

1. Prioritise Tasks
Break down goals into smaller, manageable tasks and prioritise based on urgency and importance. The Eisenhower Matrix (urgent/important grid) is a great tool to focus on what really needs attention.

2. Set Boundaries
Protect your personal time by setting clear boundaries with clients, team members, and yourself. Designate work hours and make time for non-work activities that recharge you.

3. Delegate or Outsource
Focus on high-impact tasks only you can do and delegate the rest. You don’t have to do everything yourself. Virtual assistants or freelancers can handle administrative tasks, freeing you up for strategic work.

4. Adopt a Productivity Method
Techniques like time-blocking, Pomodoro, or the "two-minute rule" can help keep you on track and make overwhelming tasks feel more manageable.

5. Embrace Imperfection
Striving for perfection often leads to burnout. Aim for progress rather than perfection, and accept that not everything will be flawless.

6. Practice Self-Compassion
Be kind to yourself. For Entrepreneurs, building a business is a marathon, not a sprint. Accept that setbacks are part of the journey, and don’t let mistakes discourage you.

7. Engage in Stress-Relief Techniques
Activities like exercise, meditation, and journaling can reduce stress and improve focus. Small, regular stress-relief habits make a huge difference over time.

8. Revisit Your Vision and Goals
Regularly reconnect with your "Why." Remembering the bigger picture helps you prioritise and stay motivated during challenging times.

9. Connect with Other Entrepreneurs
Building a supportive network of like-minded people can provide encouragement, accountability, and fresh perspectives.

Taking things one step at a time and practicing these habits consistently can help reduce overwhelm and create a sustainable rhythm for growth. 🤗
