REEL Guyana has released a new eye-opening documentary called The March Onwards, which focuses on the conflicts faced by the local farmers and indigenous Warrau communities, and other environmental issues. Split An Atom's Hammy Havoc and Mary Ann Mahoney teamed up with Alex Arjoon and the REEL Guyana team to provide dialogue editing, re-recording mixing, and sound editing for this documentary, which premiered at MovieTowne Guyana on October 12th. REEL Guyana has released a video about the new Imbotero Research Center (IRC), which is located in the Barima-Mora Passage Area (BMPA), the largest intact mangrove ecosystem in Guyana, with good access to the Shell Beach Protected Area. This documentary features interviews with Annette Arjoon, Bob Holtzman, Sarah Singh, and more.

The Imbotero Research Center is made up of two recycled and repurposed buildings that were relocated to Imbotero from Shell Beach because of beach erosion in 2020. The IRC will allow for more convenient field research for international researchers.

This isn't our first collaboration with Alex Arjoon, and we were excited to see what Reel Guyana had in store for us this time! Hammy Havoc and Mary Ann Mahoney provided re-recording mixing, dialogue editing, and sound editing. Stuart Routledge was assistant re-recording mixer.

Mary Ann Mahoney edited and formatted Mushy Pea & The Enchanted Christmas Tree by Lee Dilley. It's about a young girl named Mushy Pea who knocks the star off the top of the Christmas tree and must return it before Santa arrives!
