SGD Weekly Round-Up 📢📢📢
It’s been another busy and productive week for the SGD team, with jobs and surveys taking us across Altrincham, Macclesfield, Manchester, Liverpool, Salford and Stockport.
Away from site, it’s been another positive week for the wider SGD team, with plenty happening across the business. On Monday, Sarah and Sian met with Gemma from Compliance Chain for our quarterly catch-up. It was a productive meeting and a valuable opportunity to review our ongoing activity, discuss recent developments and look ahead to upcoming priorities.
On Wednesday, Sarah attended the Knowsley Ambassadors meeting at Kirkby High School, joining representatives from across the borough to discuss local initiatives and opportunities. It’s always great to be involved in conversations that support the continued development of Knowsley and its communities. Also on Wednesday, Sarah and Georgia met with Bev from Cash for Kids to discuss our upcoming support for their Mission Christmas campaign. Following our recent fundraising efforts, we’re looking forward to continuing our involvement and helping to make a positive difference to local children and families this Christmas.
This week, we’re also delighted to share that SGD Fire Protection successfully passed our onsite FIRAS Audit! A huge thank you to our installation and office teams for their hard work, organisation and attention to detail, ensuring the entire auditing process ran smoothly from start to finish. A fantastic team effort and another positive reflection of the high standards we continue to maintain across the business!
To round off the week, we were absolutely delighted to receive Highly Commended recognition at last night’s MIB Awards! It was a fantastic evening celebrating the achievements of businesses from across the region, and we’re incredibly proud to receive this recognition. A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support SGD and contributes to our ongoing success.
