Ruby is an East London born and bred visual and vocal artist, singer and writer. They are also ⅓ of the vocalists in the Ladies of the 80’s band. Their work focuses on collaboration and unification of sound and visual language to communicate and stimulate atmospheric experiences. They now work as a creative events producer and assistant, both in the music industry and the Irish Cultural Centre, and as a vocal artist. Ruby is developing their own creative process influenced by their Irish heritage, sound art and poetry, as well as an active acolyte of the south London alt-hop collective Karmiq Lareef.
