Happy two year anniversary to our Senior Director, !

"To say Harry's been a breath of fresh air would be underplaying just how much impact he's had on Apsida Globally.

I've had the pleasure of knowing him and his family for a very long time, way before Apsida was even a pipe dream, and to now think he's an irreplaceable part of the Senior Leadership team here feels incredible.

Harry's infectious enthusiasm for just about everything inspires us all to go the extra mile, his attention to detail shows just why clients and candidates alike love working with him, and his ability to think of the bigger picture with a calm and collected attitude are just some of the reasons we love working with him.

I'm thrilled Harry is completing his 2nd year with the team and am extremely excited about the future.

Thanks for everything H." - Ben Pearce, CEO

Congratulations to on her promotion to Recruitment Consultant!

"Since joining team Penticost Lucy has been a valued part of our team and the wider office.

She not only focuses on her own desk and work, but is always looking to improve and develop her recruitment skills, while also sharing her knowledge and experience with others across Apsida.

This promotion really marks a milestone in Lucy’s recruitment career at Apsida and I have no doubt she will push forward to become an even better recruiter than she is today.

Very proud of you Lucy, here’s to the next promotion!" - William Penticost, Business Manager

The final value in our SIDA Values Series is Accountability.

At Apsida, accountability means taking responsibility for your work, following through on what you’ve committed to and being honest when things don’t go to plan.

It also means being able to take feedback, recognise when something could have been handled differently and learn from it.

Accountability is about owning your work and your results.

If these values align with you, we’re currently hiring for an Associate Consultant in our Redhill (UK) and Boston (US) offices.

To find out more, contact Millie Salmon at [email protected].

Next up in our SIDA Values Series is Drive.

We asked what Drive means to her and how it shows up in her day-to-day role at Apsida. Here’s what she said:

“For me, drive is about keeping momentum, especially when things don’t go to plan. Recruitment comes with its fair share of wins and losses, so you need the determination to keep building relationships, keep looking for opportunities and keep moving forward.

At Apsida, I think that also means not being satisfied with just doing what’s expected. It’s about pushing yourself to improve, being willing to step outside your comfort zone and looking for ways to do things better.

What motivates me is seeing that progress. I enjoy building client relationships, making successful placements and developing my own skills. Having something to work towards keeps me motivated and pushes me to keep improving.”

Next up in our SIDA Values Series is Initiative.

In recruitment, initiative can make the difference between simply working a search and actually improving the process around it.

We asked .cl why he thinks initiative is important at Apsida. Here’s what he said:

“Initiative is important in recruitment because our role should go beyond simply finding candidates for a vacancy.

It’s about being proactive and looking for ways to add value at every stage, whether that’s helping a client shape a job brief, suggesting improvements to the interview process, providing insight on the market or putting forward a candidate they may not have initially considered.

For me, initiative is about taking ownership, sharing our expertise and always looking for ways to make the recruitment process better for our clients.”

At Apsida, we have a set of values that we believe are important for everyone across our teams to follow.

These values make up SIDA: Support, Initiative, Drive and Accountability.

Throughout this series, we’ll be taking a closer look at each of our values and what they mean for the environment we create at Apsida.

First up is Support.

We believe support goes beyond helping each other when we need it.

To explain what support looks like at Apsida, we asked Isabelle Pearce, our Marketing Lead, how she thinks support shows up across the business. Here’s what she said:

“For me, support is a big part of what makes Apsida work. Recruitment can be a competitive environment, but there’s a real sense that people are willing to help each other, share what they’ve learnt and step in when someone needs it.

I also think support is about giving people the confidence to develop and make their own decisions. It’s not about having someone constantly looking over your shoulder or stepping in to solve every problem. It’s knowing that you have people around you who will give you advice when you need it, but also trust you to take ownership and work things out for yourself.

That’s something I really value about Apsida. People are encouraged to be independent, but there’s still a sense that you’re part of a team and that you don’t have to figure everything out on your own.”

Next up in our Meet the Team series is one of our Recruitment Consultants.

Geneva specialises in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance recruitment across MedTech, Medical Devices, Biotech and Pharma.

After nearly five years in recruitment, much of Geneva’s work has been built around developing a strong network within the MedTech market. One of the things she’s most proud of is seeing those relationships develop into new opportunities, with clients being recommended to her by people already within her network.

“My network can be quite niche and relationship-driven in MedTech, so it’s a great feeling to know that clients value your service enough to recommend you to others.”

It’s also an area of the market she enjoys working in, particularly as technology continues to play a bigger role across MedTech.

“I’m grateful that I get to work with organisations that are using AI responsibly to make a difference and, in some cases, help save lives.”

One piece of advice that has stayed with Geneva throughout her career is:

“Always celebrate the small wins.”

Earlier in her career, Geneva admits she was often too focused on the end goal. Learning to recognise progress along the way has become an important part of how she approaches her work.

Outside of the office, Geneva spends her time at the gym, trying new restaurants with her boyfriend and seeing family and friends, particularly her baby niece. She also loves to travel, with the Amalfi Coast currently at the top of her list.

For Geneva, the friendships and support across the business are a big part of what she enjoys about working at Apsida.
