Apologies for that! Here's the post again for you to read: The case of the Menendez brothers, Lyle and Erik, captivated the nation in the early 1990s as a chilling tale of greed, violence, and family betrayal. Convicted of murdering their wealthy parents, José and Kitty Menendez, the brothers became symbols of entitlement gone awry. However, recent revelations force us to reconsider their story, especially in light of newly surfaced allegations against their father, José Menendez....

Christine J Hart investigates serial killers. From a young age, I was captivated by serial killers—adoptees, like myself, who seemed to share an unspoken bond. As an adoptee raised by a bitter, violent mother who resented the child she couldn’t bear herself, I often wondered: were these killers lashing out against their own pain, hatred, and rejection? Did they see their adoptive families as something unnatural, as I did mine?...

Making Sense of Suffering and Finding Purpose From It As we age, one of the most pressing questions we face is, “What will I leave behind in this world?” The more we experience life’s hardships, the more we see that the answer lies not in what we possess or accumulate, but in how we touch others' lives—particularly the young. The world belongs to them, and as we transition from middle age to elderhood, we carry with us the hard-won lessons and scars from our own battles....

Each morning, before the world rushes in with its demands, I’ve begun to practice something gentle but profound: welcoming myself into the day with the love and care I deserve. I like to think of it as re-parenting myself—a way to nurture the part of me that still feels shaky, unsure, or unworthy. I prepare a small space near where I wake up—a candle, some incense, and maybe a few objects that have meaning for me....

Overcoming My Fear of Other Women. I’ve noticed that in my counseling group, there are a few women who exude an air of confidence and authority, but it doesn’t feel genuine to me. To be honest, they come across as arrogant, though I hesitate to use that word. It’s like they are full of themselves, speaking as though they are experts on everything—almost like they believe they’re the reincarnations of Jung or Freud....

Driven by an insatiable curiosity about another screwed up adoptee, finding a book on Ian Brady - I wrote letters to the caged serial killer when I was just 23 years old. Dear Mr. Brady, my pen scratching furiously across the paper. "Who did this to you?" I asked, my words dripping with a mix of fascination and need to comprehend why some people had sweet lives and others had adoption....

The lack of real reporting on what actually went on in Southport and why is a symptom of a press totally under control by the State. The phone hacking was bought into the tabloid to destroy any ideas of investigative coverage of people places and events. No real investigation goes on in the UK because reporters are afraid. You literally cannot even use a pretext to get someone to talk to you without the “woke” brigade telling you it is illegal....
