Mindset Matters...

How you respond to situations, information, stress matters and can hugely affect the desired outcome. Large-scale emotional responses seldom help, practice the pause.

Consider the facts, consider what you want to happen (rather than how you feel) and plan the best course of action to make it happen.

We are all free to make any decisions we want in life but equally we all have to live with the consequences of those decisions. Everything we do/don't do, say/ don't say ripples through the lives of those closest to us...

Change is painful, change is scary but change is necessary to heal old wounds and improve your life...

The key to growth and success lies in your daily routine, your habits and being able to be completely honest with yourself. So you can address whatever negative behaviours (we all have them!) are holding you back from achieving whatever it is you are striving for...🏃‍♂️

We all self sabotage, we all have learned negative behaviours, we all have baggage and past mistakes...

Your environment determines your thoughts, your thoughts determine your focus, your focus determines your actions, your actions determine your habits. Your habits determine your future!

Be mindful of what you watch, read, listen to, eat, drink, smoke and associate with. That is your environment, your inputs. Set yourself up for success...

Nothing of value comes easy, worth is built. It's earned, it's achieved through effort!

So be honest with yourself, are your habits, your circles, is your outlook helping or hindering you???

If you want a different result, you have to do things differently. We often cling to what no longer serves because of the familiar. Think big picture, what you want to achieve long term, avoid the traps and self sabotage disguised as comfort of convenience.

Everyone has a past, issues, pain and trauma to one degree or another. At some point we all become aware of our own negative behaviours linked to our past, you can either use the past to fuel your drive for progression (hence all the rags to riches stories) or you can hide behind them locked in a cycle of self sabotage, ultimately only you can make the change.

SAVE YOURSELF...

Some people are determined to learn the hard way, will never appreciate your effort and actions. To save yourself know when to call it a day!

Don't listen to words, look at peoples actions...

The brutal truth is if they wanted too they would, people can have all the potential in the world but if they don't want to change/are happy in their current situations there's absolutely nothing you can do/say to get them to.

Best advice, wish them well on their journey and focus on you. What you can change, what you can improve. You can't help anyone that doesn't want to be helped no matter how much the wasted potential breaks your heart. You'll wear yourself into the ground trying to get the blind to see...

Instead pour that energy, that effort back into yourself. You'll be amazed by the results!

We often overestimate what can be achieved in a day but underestimate what can be achieved in a year...

It's easy to get demotivated at the beginning when you're not smashing those targets daily but just remember you don't need to be perfect you need to be persistent!

All those baby steps add up, the key is a little progress everyday and staying disciplined and consistent. Don't let the odd bump in the road (this is life they happen) throw off your game and deter you from achieving your goals!

When tasked with moving a mountain, don't dwell on it's size just grab the nearest rock and start moving! 💪
