We might not have predicted the semi-final score correctly but Security we are experts in!

Over the past few weeks, it has been a privilege to support and provide security services to many of our customers who operate in the hospitality sector who were showing the World Cup matches.

Even though it meant some late nights, it was a joy to be part of such positive atmospheres and seeing people from different backgrounds and nations come together to cheer on their teams and be overwhelmingly well behaved, has been a privilege.

Over the weekend, we were delighted to provide security guarding and stewarding at a local community event.

A thank you to all our customers for your continued trust in us. We really do appreciate working with each and everyone of you and strive to provide you with the best security service possible.

Quick question…

When budgets get tight, what gets deprioritised first in your security strategy - Prevention or Response?

That was the question being discussed amongst security and operations managers of local venues and corporate buildings.

Some interesting insights were shared and here’s what stuck out for us:

• Don’t underestimate the value of preventative security. A lot of effective incident response only works because the right measures were already in place
• The people on the ground i.e. staff, front-of-house teams and security personnel can be your strongest asset when properly trained and with tried & tested procedures in place
• Technology is changing the game, it can help improve efficiency and results but it’s making a well-thought-out security strategy more important, not less
• Friction between security teams and operations is common. The best outcomes happen when they work together and share key objectives.

So back to the question:
