Growing up on a farm in Zimbabwe, I spent my childhood drinking water from a borehole. Pure, cold, straight from the earth.
Moving to the UK at 18 and realising what actually comes out of the tap here — recycled, treated, laced with residue.. genuinely put me off drinking enough water.
I've spent 20+ years working at sea, and good water was always a priority on board. On land in the UK? Still no good answer.
So I decided to build one.
