How to replace a washing machine valve

Problem: They had curry pc world delivering a new washing machine and they couldn't replace it because the valve was faulty and they are not plumbers to be able to replace the valve.

Solution: Replace the washing machine valve

Materials required:
1. Washing machine valve

Tools required:
1. Spanner and grips
2. Star screw driver
3. Wet vacuum
4. PTFT or Locktite

How to install:
1. Stop the water
2. Remove the old washing machine valve
3. Put PTFT or Locktite around the olive
4. Install the new washing machine valve
5. Connect the washing machine hose
6. Turn the water back on
7. Check for any leaks

How to install a washing machine valve

They never had a washing machine so I had to install a washing machine valve underneath the kitchen sink.

You can prepare the valve and push fit tee outside, stop the water from cold water main stopcock, cut the 15mm Cooper pipe and fit in the push fit tee and Job done.

Materials required:
15mm push fit tee
Small piece of 15mm Cooper pipe
Washing machine valve
PTFT or Locktite

Tools required:
15mm Cooper pipe cutter
Spanner and grips
Wet vacuum
Star screw driver

How to install:
1. Identify the cold water main pipe
2. Stop the water
3. Think where you'll install the valve
4. Cut the cold water main pipe
5. Fit in the push fit tee
6. Shut the washing machine valve
7. Turn the water back on
8. Check for any leaks
9. Screw the water inlet for the washing machine into the washing machine valve
10. Job complete

How to install a bath screen glass

Problem: There's no bath glass for the bath. Only curtain and lot's of water going on the floor every time the shower it's in use.

Solution: Install a bath screen glass

Materials required:
1. Bath screen glass
2. Brown plugs 7mm and x3 screws
3. Clear sanitary silicone sealant

Tools required:
1. Cordless drill
2. Tile diamond bit 7mm
3. Silicone gun
4. Pencil
5. Metal drill bit 2mm

How to install:
1. Put the screen frame on position
2. Mark with pencil
3. Drill the x3 holes
4. Insert the plugs
5. Add silicone on the back of the glass frame
6. Fit the frame on top of the bath on the wall
7. Slide the bath screen glass into the frame
8. Put a screwdriver under the glass between the glass and bath to hold on position
9. Drill the x3 2mm holes on the side of the frame inside the bath
10. Screw in the x3 small screw on the side of the frame to hold the glass on position
11. Add clear silicone on the side of the glass frame between frame and tiles. Inside and outside the bathtub

How to install 1st fix for kitchen hot, cold, waste, washing machine, dish washer and gas cooker

The builders has ripped off the kitchen and called me to come and do the plumbing 1st fix

Materials required:
15mm Cooper pipe
15mm elbows
15mm tee
15mm washing machine and dish washer valve
15mm cap end
15mm clips
15mm stopcock
40mm waste pipe
40mm clips
40mm elbows
40mm commpression tee
7mm brown plugs and screws
Gas valve
35mm tee with 15mm reducer in the middle
Angled bayonet socket gas fitting 15mm

Tools required:
1. 15mm Cooper pipe cutter
2. Tape measure
3. Pencil
4. Cordless drill
5. Laser
6. Blow torch, flush, solder
7. Hammer drill with chisel bit
8. Pipe bender

How to install:
1. Identify hot, cold and gas pipes. Mark them with marker
2. Measure kitchen sink, dish washer, washing machine gas cooker and hand wash basin.
3. Visualise where you'll run the pipes
4. Use the laser to mark your plugs
5. Install the clips on position for hot, cold and waste
6. Run the waste pipe first and glue all the joints
7. Run the hot and cold water pipes. Solder all the joints
8. Install the 35mm tee for the gas cooker.
