Garage+ has officially announced the F26 Startup Global Program cohort: 23 startups selected from 421 applications across 55 countries, including 12 international teams.

Weโ€™re especially happy to see that 4 of those international startups were scouted through iScale Group:

Next week, our Co-Founder Tamas Szeker ่ญšๆ›œๆฃฎ will return to his alma mater, the Budapest University of Economics and Business (BGE), to join a roundtable discussion for Entrepreneurial Failure Day.

Supporting students in turning ideas into ventures has long been a topic close to Tamas. During his studies, including exchange semesters in France, South Korea and Colombia, he explored and shared international best practices on how universities can foster an entrepreneurial mindset and create stronger environments for student-led ventures.

It is great to be back at BGE and contribute to a conversation on another important part of building something new: failure, what we can learn from it, and why setbacks are often part of the journey.

Tamas will join Kazuma Tazaki from Bazu Interviews, Bence Tรณth from NoDepresso Specialty Cafรฉ, and Zsolt Oltvanyi from Mentes Cake Manufacture for the discussion, moderated by Bella Veszelovits (Vatamรกny) (BGE).

It was great to be back for the second edition of Innovate Split, where our co-founders, Tamas Szeker ่ญšๆ›œๆฃฎ and Gergล‘ Gulyรกs IMC ๅคไบžๆด›, joined discussions on startup growth, international expansion, ecosystem development and investment readiness.

Tamas moderated โ€œBuilding Bridges for Startup Growthโ€ and joined the CroStartup Meetup, while Gergล‘ contributed to โ€œWhat Works, What Fails, What Scalesโ€ and moderated โ€œHow Founders Build Startups Investors Want to Back.โ€

One theme kept coming back throughout the event: connections only create value when they lead somewhere. Strong ecosystems help founders turn introductions into customers, pilots, investment and lasting international partnerships.

Beyond the sessions, it was great to reconnect with friends and partners from across Europe and Asia, have several people from our international network take part in the programme, and meet new collaborators from across the region.
