Looking for something meaningful for your child this summer?

Instead of spending the holidays at home, many families send their children to UK summer schools, where students improve their English while making international friends and exploring famous British cities.

Every year over 200,000 young learners travel to the UK for these programmes.

Students typically spend 2–4 weeks in July or August, combining English lessons with sports, excursions and fun activities.

Programmes are available for ages 8–17, with residential campuses, host families or day courses in London.

Back in London after few days, two sleepless overnight ✈️✈️, packed days of meetings and my second inauguration ceremony of President Ghazouni in Mauritania. Absolutely worth reflecting on the fact that this was a smooth democratic process again, which in a difficult neighbourhood is absolutely to be applauded.

is an oasis of calm, secure, safe, stability in the area and should absolutely be getting your attention 🚨now as potential , , service providers from the UK. , , , , are all needed as well as finance.

Is it easy, no do things move lightning speed? ⚡️No, is it frustrating sometimes? 😡😡Absolutely. But the potential is there. UK companies should be looking to partner with companies or the government for win-win mutually beneficial projects. The President specifically mentioned education in his speech and TVET UK have been here for almost 10 years almost providing that soft landing for providers. With major successes such as the Higher Institure of English and edUKate Mauritania delivered we are evolving now with new initiatives like Study In UK (all africa) and projects in and a new drive to fund high impact education through major companies CSR funds across the region.

Through MAURITANIAN BRITISH BUSINESS COUNCIL we can facilitate these win-win in all sectors. Sadly we have lost our fantastic ambassador Colin Wells due to the diplomatic cycle so we want to make sure we are filling the British diplomatic vacuum. This is the private sector working with the private sector, no hidden agendas, just mutually beneficial trade.
