World Youth Skills Day 2021

During this year, one of our priorities will be to help students and graduates find jobs within industry sectors. The search for a placement year, securing a job and leaving university is a scary time for anyone in that position. That’s why we have composed an article outlining six ways to help you get a job.

In addition to this, we have written a section on what we can do personally to help students and graduates. This includes the time we helped Imogen H. secure a year’s industry placement with Amey.

After two weeks of being plastic-free, The Resolute Group have encountered one problem: going plastic-free while food shopping. However, after doing some research, we have come up with some solutions:

🌏 Silicon bags are great for freezing foods (including raw meat and fish), storing lunch and leftovers. In return, you are replacing plastic freeze-able bags, cling film, and foil. You can purchase these multi-purpose bags from (pretty much) any retail place, like Amazon.

🌏 When in-store, you can use strawbags, or cotton mesh bags to store fruit and vegetables. Again, you can purchase these from a variety of stores. However, you can support small/individual businesses by shopping at Esty.

🌏 Avoid buying toiletries and instead purchase plastic-free, recyclable products online. Function of Beauty, Wild & Stone Limited, and LUSH are all eco-friendly companies.

🌏 And lastly, glass or reusable containers are great for storing foods from the deli counters (meat, fish, bakery, and dairy).

Say no to plastic shopping by following our guide below:
