Here's our three step approach to dealing with stress or anxiety when it hits.

Step 1.
Grab your note book and name the things that are causing you to be stressed or feel anxious. Listing these often takes a weight off your shoulders instantly because you can 'see' the problems.

Step 2.
Working through each item you've written in step one ask yourself "Is there anything I can do to exert control over these things?" Write down a list of possible answers for each stress point.

Step 3.
Turn your answers from step two into a to-do list and give yourself a realistic timeframe to get them done prioritising time sensitive items first. Remember, the faster you work through this stuff, the faster you will recover from the anxious episode.

This is something you can do daily to set yourself up for a good day.

Pro tip: Try doing this the night before and you'll probably sleep better too!

P.S. Remember, It Makes Sense To Make Sense!

In aviation, aircraft Pilots understand that the 'attitude' of their aircraft (the degree at which the aircraft is pointing up or down) will determine whether or not the plane climbs higher, maintains a desired altitude or descends.

In the same way that a Pilot can control their aircraft, we can control our outlook on life, business and the world.

When we take control of our mind and begin to express gratitude in our lives, our attitude will change. We will become more positive, have better focus and be more productive. When our attitude is 'nose-up', we can't help but gain altitude.
