Emblem Group is looking for experienced and reliable self-employed grounds maintenance subcontractors for ongoing multi-site work across London and Essex.
We are looking to appoint **three subcontractors**, with each covering one defined area.
Area 1 – South & South West London
* Barnes / SW13
* Clapham / SW4
* Battersea / SW11
Area 2 – East London & Essex
* Barking / IG11
* Romford / RM1
* Rainham / RM13
Area 3 – North East London & Essex
* Woodford Green / IG8
* Waltham Abbey / EN9
About the opportunity
The successful subcontractors will provide regular grounds maintenance services across the sites within their selected area, in line with agreed specifications and schedules.
The work may include:
* Grass cutting and lawn care
* Hedge cutting and shrub pruning
* Weeding and border maintenance
* Leaf and litter clearance
* Seasonal grounds maintenance
* Keeping outdoor areas clean, tidy and presentable
* Reporting damage, hazards or additional work required
Additional grounds maintenance work may also be offered when available.
Full site details, schedules and specifications will be provided to shortlisted applicants.
Requirements
Applicants should:
* Be self-employed or operate a grounds maintenance business and be able to provide invoices
* Have relevant professional grounds maintenance experience
* Be able to travel reliably between the sites within their selected area
* Have access to suitable grounds maintenance tools and equipment
* Be able to work safely and independently
* Be reliable and available for ongoing work
Public Liability Insurance is preferred but not essential at the application stage. Insurance, equipment, qualifications and other working arrangements will be discussed during the screening process.
Rates will be discussed with suitable applicants based on the site requirements and scope of work.
