Winter Deployments 2026 🎿 ⛰️

Every winter our teams return to the Alps, supporting client movements across locations such as St. Moritz, Courchevel and Zermatt. These environments bring their own operational challenges; weather, terrain, logistics, aviation coordination and medical preparedness all become part of daily planning.

Operating in alpine environments requires more than knowledge. It requires practical skills, whether skiing or snowboarding, situational awareness on the mountain, and the ability to respond immediately if something goes wrong.

This season we experienced exactly that. A medical incident on the slope reminded everyone how quickly situations can change. The presence of a capable security team on the mountain, with first aid equipment and AED access, made a real difference in how the situation unfolded.

Different environments demand different skills, but the responsibility remains the same.

The Central African Republic is not a commonly discussed or popular destination for travel or operations. However, for organisations and individuals who do need to operate there, access to realistic, experience-based information is critical.

We’ve shared an article outlining some of the operational experience in CAR, focusing on deployment planning, security risk management, movement considerations, and the practical realities of operating in a complex environment.

We hope this perspective may be useful for corporations, NGOs and individuals planning or supporting operations in the country, where preparation, judgement, and local understanding matter more than assumptions.

EPM Ukraine β€” Entering Our Fifth Year of Continuous Operations πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ πŸ‡΅πŸ‡± πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§

Over the past four years, and now entering our fifth year of operations, we have supported individuals, insurers, international NGOs, and corporate clients operating in complex environments all across Ukraine including the frontlines.

Our work has focused on security advisory, local intelligence, secure logistics, medical, and transportation support, delivered in line with duty of care and international safety standards. This includes comprehensive movement solutions from Polish airports and border crossings into Ukraine, enabling controlled and secure access to operational areas.

Throughout the past four years, we have faced significant challenges, yet consistently ensured our clients were supported and moved safely back across the Polish border. This has only been possible due to the dedication of our operators on the ground, who continuously monitor the situation and provide reliable, real-time advisory.

While we look forward to the end of the conflict, EPM Global remains ready to support ongoing and future missions, wherever responsible preparation and experienced ex*****on are required.

Working beyond the capital in complex and volatile contexts requires careful planning, local awareness, and a disciplined approach to duty of care. Our role was to support safe and responsible mission delivery while respecting the realities on the ground.

We’re sharing the confirmed FREC 3 training dates for 2026.

In 2026, SecUnity will deliver five FREC 3 courses in Central London, providing consistent access to professional medical training for security professionals and individuals seeking to advance their medical capability.

Our FREC 3 training is delivered with a strong emphasis on scenario-based, hands-on training, not just classroom learning.

In addition to the London courses, we are also planning one FREC 3 course in Poland in April, delivered in connection with fi****ms training. This edition will be run at a shooting range facility, where we will focus on integrated scenarios and pressure testing, using specialist equipment to replicate real-life operational conditions.

As with all SecUnity programmes, FREC 3 is delivered by instructors with active field experience, ensuring training remains relevant, realistic, and grounded in operational reality.

Ronin SA | Poland β€” Second Edition 2026

Following the first successful delivery in Poland, SecUnity by EPM Global will host the second edition of the Ronin SA South Africa close protection training programme in 2026.

This programme reflects the standards we believe professional training should be built on; experience, discipline, and operational relevance. It is designed for individuals who understand that preparation, judgement, and responsibility cannot be taught through theory alone.

Further details will be shared shortly as part of our wider 2026 training calendar.

πŸ“… New Training Dates for 2026 β€” Releasing This Friday πŸ“…

SecUnity was created as the training and education arm of EPM Global, built on one clear principle:

,,Professional training must reflect operational reality''.

Through years of delivering security and risk management services in complex environments, we saw a growing gap between training and what actually happens on the ground. Too often, courses were designed to monetise certifications rather than prepare people for real responsibility.
SecUnity exists to address that gap.

Our training is operationally grounded and delivered by instructors who have spent years in the field, dealing with real incidents, real consequences, and real decision-making under pressure.

EPM Global generates revenue and profit through operational service delivery.
SecUnity, by design, serves a different purpose.
Training is not used as a profit centre. Courses are priced to be delivered properly and to reward the right trainers for tier-one instruction based on operational knowledge and skill, not marketing profiles.

SecUnity also allows us to contribute to the professional community by sharing the right tools, experience, and standards, while at the same time identifying and observing the right talent in a training environment before placing responsibility in their hands.

Our aim is simple:
To add long-term value to the security industry by keeping training honest, relevant, and operationally grounded.

Full details of our 2026 training calendar will be shared on Friday.
