Malta (Valletta, Marsaxlokk, Blue Grotto, Mdina)

I visited the beautiful Grand Harbour of Valletta, the quaint fishing village of Marsaxlokk in south-eastern Malta, the stunning Blue Grotto caves, and the ancient city of Mdina, known as the Silent City and Malta's former capital.

Many of the buildings we saw are made from limestone, giving Malta its distinctive golden glow.

The blend of Mediterranean and Arabic influences makes Malta unlike anywhere else we've visited. Even the Maltese language sounded completely different from any other European language I've heard.

Part 4 - Monaco, Travel in South of France
Monaco may be one of the smallest countries in the world, but it’s packed with glamour, luxury, and iconic views. Known for its superyachts, opulence, spotless streets, and the Grimaldi Royal Family, it’s also home to the legendary Monaco Grand Prix. When I visited, the city was already transforming for race weekend — spectator grandstands being built, barriers lining the streets, and the whole atmosphere buzzing with excitement as preparations for F1 were underway.

Part 3 - Menton is a beautiful French Riviera town right on the Italian border, blending colourful Mediterranean charm with a relaxed coastal atmosphere. Thanks to its unique microclimate, Menton enjoys mild temperatures almost all year round and is known for having over 300 days of sunshine annually. Surrounded by mountains and the sea, it’s the perfect mix of French elegance and Italian influence, with vibrant gardens, citrus trees, and scenic waterfront views and delicious food.

Part 2 - Èze Village
Perched high above the coastline, this beautiful hilltop village gave us some of the most stunning views across the Côte d’Azur. Narrow cobbled streets, stone buildings full of character, hidden corners, and endless sea views from the beautiful Jardin Exotique d’Èze.

Just a 30 minute drive east of Nice. Make sure your destination is set to Èze Village and not the train station below at sea level, unless you fancy a very steep uphill trek with limited bus or taxi options.

Nice, Côte d’Azur — soaking in the sights, the food, the views, and some sunshine in the French Riviera.

Just a two hour flight from London and you’re straight into turquoise waters, beautiful coastlines, and some of the tastiest local food.
