On 12 August 2026, one of nature’s rarest spectacles will take place across the Mediterranean skies – a total solar eclipse – and Menorca is one of the best locations to witness it.
While visitors from across the globe are expected to gather at viewpoints across the island Hotels, Private Estates & Event venues is offering a more intimate way to experience the eclipse. Reserved exclusively for guests staying with Vestige, a thoughtfully created eclipse experience will take place at Vestige Son Ermità & Binidufà in Menorca’s wild north within 800 hectares of unspoilt countryside, far from the crowds.
With its hilltop setting and extraordinary views, Vestige Son Ermità provides the most remarkable setting for a special dinner event from which to enjoy this extraordinary natural phenomenon. As daylight fades into darkness, guests will gather beneath open skies to experience the eclipse in an atmosphere that is characterised by stillness, pure nature and a deep sense of place.
To mark the occasion, Executive Chef .cuiner has created a special one-night-only menu inspired by the eclipse itself and the flavours of Menorca.
Available only for three-night bookings that include the night of 12 August 2026, the ‘Under the Eclipse’ package includes accommodation at either Vestige Son Ermità or Vestige Binidufà, daily breakfast, a welcome drink, round-trip transfers to the eclipse dinner, eclipse viewing glasses, and the Solar Eclipse Dinner with wine pairing at Son Ermità.
Prices start from €3920 per room for the three-night package, based on two sharing, but longer bookings are also possible.
