My pet peeve is: Hope your well.
I haven't got a well! And what do you hope for it?
Nothing activates someone faster than a misplaced “your.”
“You’re beautiful.”
“Your beautiful.”
Oh so now my beautiful what? My beautiful driveway? My beautiful tax return? Finish the sentence. Don’t just drop an adjective and walk away like that.
Same energy as “I’m better then you.”
Then what? THEN WHAT?? Is something about to happen?? Are we racing? Are we fighting? Is there a sequel??
And “your welcome” might be the wildest one. My welcome?? You’re claiming ownership of the concept now? Did you invent gratitude?
The funniest part is how confident people are when they type it. No hesitation. No spellcheck. Just vibes and chaos. Meanwhile the grammar demons are screaming in the background.
It’s not even about being a language snob. It’s the suspense. You can’t just leave a sentence hanging like that. Complete the thought. Close the portal. End the madness.
