About the role

Our client is a global hedge fund company currently experiencing a period of expansion due to increased business activity. They are looking for a Fund Accountant who is keen to progress into a Fund Controller role.

Ideally, you will have:

• Part-qualified, finalist, newly qualified or 1–2 years PQE – ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• 2+ years’ Fund Accounting experience
• Experience working with open-ended fund structures and core fund accounting processes, including NAV production
• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the Fund Controller with financial reporting and oversight of a portfolio of open-ended funds
• Support the preparation and review of NAVs, investor allocations and capital
• Complete fund accounting reconciliations and control checks
• Provide fund accounting support, portfolio analysis and transaction-related assistance
• Assist with the valuation of illiquid investments
