A lovely reflection from David Carter at the National Autistic Society, South Hampshire Branch.

“The large audience found the talk moving, entertaining and most inspirational.”

“He gave a unique insight into how autism has impacted on his life and how he has positively overcome many challenges along the way.”

Talks like this are where my neurodiversity work began: sharing lived experience honestly, while helping people understand autism beyond stereotypes and assumptions.

For me, the aim has always been to make neurodiversity feel human, relatable and useful — whether speaking to community groups, professionals, families or employers.

Because inclusion starts with better understanding, but it only matters when that understanding changes how we support people in real life.

Interactive neurodiversity training should leave people with more than awareness — it should leave them with practical takeaways they can actually use.

Lovely feedback from a session delivered with Via Vita Health:

“They were really happy with the session — they loved the interactivity and felt like there were lots of takeaways.”

That’s always the aim: make neuroinclusion engaging, useful and easy to apply in real workplaces.

The best sessions are not lectures. They create space for questions, reflection and practical tools people can take back into their teams straight away.

A lovely reflection from Donna Stevenson at neurobox.

“Nat is an amazingly wise and insightful speaker.”

“His ability to share innovative thoughts in a concise and engaging way is truly inspiring.”

That balance matters so much in neuroinclusion work: depth without overwhelm, insight without jargon, and practical ideas people can actually use.

The goal is always to make complex ideas about neurodiversity feel clearer, more human and more useful in real-world settings.

Because good neuroinclusion is not about adding more noise — it is about helping people understand different minds with more clarity, confidence and care.

A great day delivering a “Discovering Neurodiversity” workshop with Tower Hamlets Council.

Feedback from the session:

“Excellent, no feedback! Really engaging speaker!”

That kind of response means a lot, because the aim is never just to raise awareness — it is to make neurodiversity feel clear, practical and relevant to real working environments.

Sessions like this help teams move from good intentions to everyday action: clearer communication, better support, more confidence around adjustments, and a stronger understanding of how different minds experience work.

Neuroinclusion works best when it becomes practical, human and usable.

A throwback to my time delivering with Go Think Big — supporting young people to build confidence, share their stories and see new possibilities for their futures.

Feedback like this still means a huge amount:

“Nat is one of the most inspiring, knowledgeable and passionate facilitators I have ever met.”

“He always leaves attendees feeling empowered and with tangible skills they can take away.”

“His drive to make things inclusive and accessible for all is extremely rare.”

That has always been the heart of my work: making inclusion practical, energising and useful — not just something people talk about, but something they can feel and act on.

Whether it’s young people, educators, employers or whole organisations, the goal is the same: create spaces where different minds are understood, supported and able to thrive.

Not a bad way to mark almost one whole year of running Divergent Thinking UK full time.

This time last year, I was still figuring out what this would actually look like: building something useful, sustainable, and rooted in work I really care about.

Since then, it’s taken me into organisations, universities, charities, councils, global teams, and now, somehow, to 10 Downing Street.

Still feels surreal.

I started Divergent Thinking because I wanted neurodiversity work to feel more practical and more human. Less tick-box awareness, more honest conversations about communication, confidence and inclusion that actually works day to day.

There’s still a lot I’m learning, and a lot I want to build. But this felt like one of those rare moments where I stopped and thought:

Okay. Maybe this is becoming something.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, booked, shared, introduced, trusted, or encouraged me along the way.

A lovely reflection from Dr Camila Devis-Rozental at Bournemouth University.

“Nat is a super passionate advocate and expert in neurodiversity.”

“His commitment and in-depth knowledge, coupled with an innovative approach to everything he does, is truly inspiring.”

Bournemouth University has been a big part of my journey — both personally and professionally — so this feedback means a lot.

This work has always been about making neurodiversity practical, human and useful: helping people understand different ways of thinking, learning and communicating, and turning that understanding into better environments.

Because neuroinclusion is not just about awareness. It is about changing how people feel, learn, work and belong.
