Hope is the optimistic belief that things will turn out ok.

Seema Malhotra MP gives me that hope - that the next generation, the ones who have been called the lost generation will find their way because we will make sure of it.

Will it be easy.
Nope.

Do we still keep pushing in the face of uncertainty.
Absolutely.

I've come to believe that when we talk in broad terms about 'government' that in reality we're talking about people, like you reading this. And those people quite possibly resonate with the changes you want to see.

Yeah I know, easier said that done. But I'd prefer to do the hard things to get it done that simply say or complain about it - because that's easy.

The sun is out and I'm optimistic,(today!)

Looking forward to what the future holds.

Ultra pleased to share that Ultra Education CIC has been awarded a grant from the Joseph Levy Foundation ✨

The Foundation supports organisations working with disadvantaged young people, and we’re grateful to be recognised as part of that work 🫶🏽

This grant will support the continued delivery of our entrepreneurship and financial capability programmes, reaching thousands of young people each year with practical skills, real-world experiences and access to opportunities they may not otherwise have 💰✅🎒

Support like this plays an important role in ensuring young people are not just prepared for the future but able to shape it.

Andrew Young, a civil rights leader who worked closely with Martin Luther King Jr. and later served as a U.S. Ambassador, was highlighting a reality that still holds today. We operate in an economy shaped by ownership, investment, and value creation, yet many young people are never taught how these fundamentals work in practice. They are rarely exposed to concepts like investing, building income streams, or understanding how money flows through the economy. Instead, they are often guided toward a single path without being given the tools to evaluate or expand their options.

This is the gap we focus on addressing through our work at Our aim is not just to introduce business as a concept, but to equip young people with a working understanding of the system they are part of, so they can participate with confidence and intention.

Through we provide young people with an early introduction to how money works, how to think from an investor’s perspective, and how to move from being consumers to becoming creators of value. The focus is on building practical understanding that can be applied over time, rather than short-term inspiration.

If you are a parent, school, or organisation looking to better prepare young people for the realities of the modern economy, there is an opportunity to get involved. You can partner with Ultra Education, bring Young Investor Week into your school or community, or reach out directly to explore how this can be delivered in your setting.

These are the rules of free enterprise. As it stands very few people or statutory organisations will teach this to your kids. Not because they don't want to but because they're not measured on it or get paid to do it.

Were doing our part, this requires more than 1 organisation it requires a movement.
