YourSkills, a Stanford-incubated start-up now accelerated at AceON Accelerator, is a skills-first AI platform for hybrid teams that helps consulting and project-based SMEs deliver more projects with the same people by uncovering hidden skills, reallocating talent more intelligently, and filling capability gaps with AI support. ๐Ÿฆพ

๐Ÿ‘‰ Weโ€™re finally moving from job titles to real skills. Thatโ€™s the big shift. AI gives companies visibility they never had before, what skills actually exist inside the business, whatโ€™s missing, and how to bridge the gap. In big enterprises, AI is used for building skill taxonomies, predicting workforce needs, and creating personalized upskilling paths. Smaller companies use it more practically to automate skill discovery, match people to projects, and get quick insights from limited data. The exciting part is that AI is making workforce intelligence accessible. What used to be a privilege of Fortune 500 HR teams is now something a 50-person company can use to make smarter, faster talent decisions.

๐Ÿ‘‰ 1.Map your skills. Not roles, not job descriptions but actual human capabilities. You canโ€™t build the future if you donโ€™t know what you already have.
๐Ÿ‘‰2. Build digital and AI literacy across every level. People donโ€™t need to code but they need to understand how to collaborate with AI.
๐Ÿ‘‰3. Make experimentation part of your culture. Let teams play with AI tools, learn fast, and adapt. Companies that experiment will move faster than those that overthink.

๐Ÿ‘‰ I think Gen Z is both different and a product of the world weโ€™ve built. They grew up online, surrounded by instant feedback and constant change, so they naturally expect the same at work. They want transparency, flexibility, and meaning. Theyโ€™re not difficult - theyโ€™re just optimized for a digital, fast-paced world. And they expect work to be part of life, not separate from it. For example, millennials value flexibility and collaborative problem-solving - seeking growth, transparency, and purpose. But Gen Z values diversity, individuality, and entrepreneurialism - looking for stimulation and development. Gen Alpha will take this even further - theyโ€™re AI-native. Theyโ€™ll expect full personalization and autonomy from day one.

๐ŸŒ Sharing some key takeaways:
๐Ÿง  41% of work tasks across 900+ roles can be impacted by AI (Onet model). But disruption isnโ€™t one-size-fits-all. White-collar, rules-based work like financial analysis may see 70โ€“80% automation potential, while roles like roofing? Closer to 0%.

๐Ÿ’ป In software companies, AI tools (like Copilot) can boost individual productivity by ~60%. That means a massive shift in org structures is coming, AI wonโ€™t just support roles, it will redefine them.

๐Ÿ“Š Professional services will face a reckoning. Joe Fuller said it best: โ€œThis is the last year we deliver PowerPoints. From now on, we deliver bots.โ€ That future is coming fast, AI-native consulting models are already forming.
