From Pharaohs, Powerful Warriors And Consorts To Just Over Broke 'JOB'
I know, I'm hitting it right off the bat. Why Not?
If we are ever going to have the impact we were created to have has Nubian Empresses we need to start telling the truth about ourselves.
Hi 👋🏾 My name is Owaken Mo and I'm here to wake you up to your full potential, and am not beating around the bush.
I was recently honoured to interview the highly regarded 'Mama Moogah. The beautiful, powerful, intelligent, super-wise and very knowledgeable herbalist from Jamaica.
We were discussing on the subject of health, wealth and the power of the Divine Nubian Woman. Whilst we were speaking, she made a statement to the audience and myself, that I will never forget as long as I live.
She said "When we as black women have lack of money or struggle with making any, we get very frustrated and angry". She said "We get like this, because we were never made to be poor and we know it".
I had to sit with those words for sometime and the room went silent. Then my thoughts came back to the room and I exclaimed with an exciting tone of voice "That is so true". Being a African woman myself, who had gone through many financial difficulties and remembering the anger and frustrations I felt at them.
If you come from royalty it is always in your DNA, even though our minds hasn't as of yet caught up with that memory. It's like that old but powerful saying that our ancestors use to say. "It's in the Blood", or "Blood is thicker than water".
Then I proceeded to ask Moogah, what she thought was the cause of us falling from grace.
Let me give you a quick backdrop. Before starting the interview with Moogah, I had played a 9 minute short video created by Black Culture Unlocked on YouTube of a video entitled Meet The Most Dangerous Queens In African History
And based on this introductory video our conversations began. Moogah explained that we have been aided by the food industry that has for many years push unhealthy and poisonous foods that does not promote a healthy state of mind and self love for ourselves. And until we are willing to take responsibility for what comes into our body, it will take a longer journey for our minds to catch up with our DNA.
And from my prospective and knowledge I know that education also places an important role in the health of our state of mind as Nubian women.
So my aim, goal and passion is to create content and education that reflects our true history without no apology, were we are represented in our true higher states as Nubian Empresses. I hope you join me on the journey of reclaiming our royalty in this Golden Age.
