“Unstable violent man kills wife and daughter" is the only headline we needed. The implicit shaming and fear mongering around women's success in this newspapers choice of headline, is part of a pervasive messaging to hold women back.
Men's violence against women is at epidemic levels.
Leading with something the woman has done is so weird and inappropriate. It's so deliberate.
Go after all your dreams and stay away from people, especially men, who show signs of deep insecurity about that.
F**k this archaic and damaging messaging.
"Tragedy..." FFS. It's cold blooded murder.
