Great first day as a proud sponsor of the Energy4All Community Energy conference at The James Hutton Institute in Dundee. ☀️

Fantastic to explore the solar meadow which provides a lot of the Institute’s clean energy, and great to meet likeminded people, focused on ensuring renewable energy benefits their communities.

We’ve got some brilliant news to share!

We’re shortlisted for Best Fleet Electrification Initiative at this year’s EVIES, with Avon and Somerset Police, for our work installing the first ‘microgrid’ solution implemented within a UK Police Force.

We’re honoured to be recognised among multiple outstanding entries and look forward to the ceremony in November!

Huge kudos to Avon and Somerset Police for leading the way.

Sometimes projects are just meant to be, no matter what obstacles are put in your way! ☀️

When we supported Egni Coop and Newport Council to install 2 MW of solar in South Wales, not even Storm Dennis or COVID lockdowns could stop us in the end!

Although the remaining two sites in the programme had to be temporarily postponed, including the flagship 500kW array installation on Newport’s Geraint Thomas Velodrome, there was a happy ending.

The community energy feed-in tariff was given a 6-month extension back then and as lockdown eased, Joju Solar were able to install the largest solar roof in Wales.

Overall the project generates 1,650,000 kWh of electricity per year, saving 412 tCO2 per annum and it’s a proud moment in our 20 year history.

Definitely one to celebrate in our look back over 20 projects to mark 20 years of Joju! 🎉

Brilliant to be part of Southampton City Council’s ‘My Electric Journey – Sparking Change’ on Friday, as people across Southampton were invited to discover the latest electric vehicles, sustainable transport options and green energy solutions at this free public event.

We loved chatting with visitors and being one of the industry experts there, as people also discovered more about local projects being delivered to support the transition to electric transport. 👏

Thanks for having us! ⚡
