What is visible on above the surface may not always be what is going on under the surface. swans look very graceful on a pond.

Under the surface lots of work is going which is not alway seen in getting to an end result or in delivering a service.

The customer may be seeing the graceful or elegance of a refined service even though the process my be evolving.

Ideally you want your customer service to be smooth in delivery.

Leadership that is smooth in delivery brings confidence to the team. This does not mean hiding what is going on or being inauthentic.

Continuous improvement does not have to impact your performance.

Grace allows you to keep the business, service or delivery functioning smoothly whilst you undertake continuous improvement, testing and evolving. You keep the experience and outcome as smooth as possible whilst moving thing around behind the scenes.

Personal leadership evolution does not happen in a big bang it happens in continuous iterations. Are you making small iterations in your leadership gracefully?

Being in flow is being in harmony with your environment. Flowing conversation, flowing relationship, business flow, flowing with your team, work flow & process flow. All areas we recognise run flow rather than be in conflict.

Conflict & disharmony in any of the areas hinders progress toward achieving desired collaborative results.
Being in flow & harmony facilitates achieving our outcomes and deliverables in an effortless way.

Pouring energy in to unblocking the path all the time means we are continually distracted from focusing on where we are going but rather end up resolving issues & problems.

We always have issues & problems to solve. The more robust the structure of our relationships, systems, processes & services supporting flow the less we waste our time & energy on fixing problems rather than moving swiftly towards our vision & end results

Facilitating flow by removing friction allows business to continue uninterrupted. When things are flowing we have more time & energy to enjoy daily as well as time to focus on new ideas we would like to create in our world.

More time and energy you save means you can relax & enjoy your life with your family & friends, increasing your wellbeing & happiness.

Flow & harmony in relationships brings freedom to all participants. Freedom leads to flexibility which opens the world of options & possibilities. Freedom in leadership creates empowerment & synergy.

Freedom is the reward of the flow of natural leadership. No stress, no struggle no having to act inauthentically.

The post image stems from a WWII poster recruiting women to step into fill vacant roles due to men joining the military. Women were being called up & encouraged to do jobs they had not done previously.

In one way this analogy is what we need now, calling women to step into their empowered natural leadership, coming together to make the changes we need for the future or younger generation globally.

What does it mean to be empowered in leadership?
It is taking responsibility for your circumstances in your life including work. It is both in personal leadership & business leadership.

Taking responsibly in your personal leadership starts with you recognising you are the key person who can instigate the change, improving your circumstance or taking yourself in a different direction.

Empowerment in work comes from you taking some initiative even when it’s not in your area of ownership.
- An example of this could be as simple as noticing a spill or hazard in an area & letting the facilities team know rather than assuming someone else may have or will let the team know. You are not overstepping your authority you are demonstrating your responsibility & consideration for other.

Empowerment comes in when you support others to grow, develop and take on responsibility.

D is for Dream, Desire & Design as Feminine Leadership qualities.

Without a dream or desire you cannot have a direction to follow so you will be wandering aimlessly or find yourself going in circles. This leaves you feeling empty or lost.

Without a dream or desire you have nothing to design and nothing to inspire you or fill you with energy that motivates you to get out of bed.

Once you have a dream and are dedicate to bring the dream to life you find your motivation to make it happen. You have the attitudes to keep going, keep trying and keep persisting until you have that dream in your hand. The dream in your mind fuels your motivation and attitude to keep going.

You realise you are responsible for making it happen and keeping the dream alive. You receive your own education one the path as your grow which in turn allows you to educate others in all of these aspects to achieve their dreams. Empowering others.

Dedication
Responsibility
Educate
Attitude
Motivate

All of these qualities are part of Leadership. When you follow your dreams you are the leader of your vision. You are the director of this movie and making it happen.

Dreaming up new ideas, new experiences and having desires for new experiences are all feminine creative energy. Feminine creative energy is one part of Leadership.

Curiosity & Creativity are key elements in your leadership, why?

Leadership is setting the path, paving the way, guiding others and being the example you are guiding others to embody.

To be up ahead requires you to be imaginative, and curious about looking for options and possibilities. Then you can pave the way.

Setting the path, you are going first, ahead of the group, often to investigate the directions you are heading in so as to not waste the time of the group your are leading by taking the wrong path.

Don’t miss-understand, mistakes happen and are allowed. As a leader you then look for a new direction, a new way through, around or over by seeking out the option.
- You do this by going into your imagination and being curious about your situation.
- Being curious allow you you to invent new possibilities.
- You think up and test the possibilities in your imagination to get some clarity on the best approach from where you are now.

Going into curiosity and creativity opens up your imagination to allow you to find ways to solve the problem you are encountering.

Who are your female heroines forging change?

Brave leadership stimulating change for future of all women.

Stepping bravely into leadership is one way we can lead change for better opportunities for women globally. Leadership is key in this space to ensure we drive change. No-one is going to make the change overnight. It requires us to be brave in our own leadership and keep challenging where change is needed.

Though building strong relationships and networks we open the path to communicate the same messages which will bring about education and change.

Bravery is a combination of self awareness of our fears, feeling the fears and showing courage to keep charging along on the path. This is the heroic energy we must come from if we want the future daughters to not repeat the same struggles our generations have already been through.

If it is broke we must fix it for future women. No point repeating patterns that never served the previous generation.

Women and Men all have feminine energy. Feminine energy is what creates change, opportunity, new way’s to improve thing, new ideas, flexibility and adaptability.
�We have these tools. Our feminine energy in leadership drives these changes. All we have to do is create a new option, a new way, a new path or a new possibility. Simple isn’t it.

Lynette and I discuss what women can expect with menopause, some food and nutritional advice that can help with easing symptoms you are experiencing, and what is changing for the new phase of life you are entering.
�We discuss that there are a few phases of life and some of these are quite long and often result in changes in hormones which affect the body. What you might notice happening in your body and how you can give yourself the best chance at adjusting and adapting.

Lynette gives us some herbal and nutritional tips through out the chat.

We touched on Andropause and the impact on male bodies with hormonal changes.

Are you able to be authentic as a woman in your leadership style?

Perhaps we are in a male dominated environment where in order to participate we have to be one of the boys. We have to be in our masculine energy to be able to do business and get results.
The expectations on us is heavy. We can struggle to do things our family need while juggling high pressure jobs.

We feel trapped in a world that is ruthless and does not have any flexibility for our obligations to your family.

The pressure on us to hold everything together can be very stressful making us feel like we are going to have to give up our career or burn out.

Soon we feel we are forced to make a choice between sacrificing our career to give our family the best life.

When will it be time to support the change in feminine leadership for daughters of future generations to enjoy a unlimited world?

Women can have both career and family. Some of the most valuable feminine qualities of leadership support women in being able to have it all.

How, you ask?

Feminine attributes support chaotic environments and multiple environments. The feminine attributes specifically supporting these are flexibility, agility, dynamic, ability to find a way around blockers (seek possibilities, options), being creative in adapting or making a new routine, compassion, empathy and nurturing. These are natural feminine qualities. Whilst these continue to be undervalued women have to more masculine, forcing, driving, doing and delivering. This leads to burnout.

We need to shift to be in our authentic natural leadership to avoid burnout.

Who mentors and coaches you in leadership?

As a leader in many corporate roles I have mentored and coached people in both technical processes as well as personal development.
- I’ve nurtured these people into opening the path accelerating their own senior leadership career advancement.
- I empower those who culturally and socially feel unable to speak up to find their voice and share their valuable contribution.
- I coached a large volume of displaced individuals as a result of an Organisational Transformation to re-write their cv’s and prepare them for internal and external interviews by releasing the transferable skills in 121 coaching sessions. These 121 coaching sessions where I reestablished the confidence in individuals who suddenly were uncertain of their future’s in their current organisation enable the individual to successfully navigate the uncertainty and take control back of their career and life.

These are the most fulfilling and rewarding experiences I help create for both myself and my people

Fast forward to now and it is my mission as a senior female leader to bring the feminine back into female leaders, allowing women to be more authentic and act in alignment to our true nature.

I’m making the boardroom a place where women can be themselves. We all know women bring a valuable contribution to the world.

I embody these feminine attributes in my Vice Chair role with the BCS SM-ITAM (British Computer Society Service Management IT Asset Management) specialist group.

Again the BBC news is the way we bring the awareness to one of the changes we need to lead for women. To shed light on a problem women have experienced for decades.

As leaders we must keep moving forward on breaking down all of the disadvantaged circumstances women face. Leaders must lead the changes for all women globally.

Many of the feminine leadership qualities are equally attributes of men. Feminine qualities are not exclusively women’s qualities.

Whilst these qualities remain undervalued, they are disregarded. Q4 last year BCC posted an article on how undervalued these feminine leadership qualities are in 2020 yet were instrumental qualities in supporting the world through the changing environment we were flung into.

My mission is to raise value of these qualities by raising the awareness of these undervalued feminine qualities. Qualities such as compassion, empathy, patience, mentoring, understanding, unconditional love, authenticity, grace, flow, freedom, kindness, intuition, and innovation.

My leadership programs focusing on empowering women but equally we need to educate and empower our entire species on compassion and unconditional love for our fellow beings.

I am leading the charge to change the world for women here and now and in future generations to not have to repeat going though any disadvantaged circumstances many are facing today.
