It's been an incredible year for us here at EIGHTY4RED! We've had the privilege of working with some amazing clients and helped create meaningful impact through purposeful PR.

🏆 Our 'Safe Spaces Now - In Music' campaign with Sony Music,  and  was shortlisted in the Best Equality & Inclusion Cause category at the 2022 Purpose Awards!

🏊We successfully launched a new grassroots youth sports initiative with  and  to help combat and provide a solution to improve diversity in swimming and triathlons.

🌟 We supported for their annual awards ceremony that celebrated the incredible fundraisers and charities working hard to leave the world a little better than they found it. 

🏃‍♀️ We created a meaningful partnership between  x  x . “A solidarity campaign inviting people to take to the streets of London to run for safety, for change and for freedom!”

🏅 We worked with  to make some noise around the amazing work they’re doing with the Refugee Run Club! Three of their runners completed their first-ever half marathon at the , just months after arriving in the UK and taking on their first 5km.

🤰 We were appointed by  to launch a new pre and post-natal online workout platform by ‘Couch To Fitness’ - funded by  in partnership with .

🌈 We celebrated 50 years of London Pride with LGBT+ Cycling Club  - a Pride Month campaign raising funds and awareness for  ‘Misfits’ programme that creates safe fitness spaces for the trans+ community.

📰 We successfully executed PR and Influencer campaigns for 7 major mass participation sporting events on behalf of for , Hackney Half, , , , ,  & - generating 974 pieces of coverage with an estimated 47.7m views.

We're excited to announce that EIGHTY4RED has been appointed by to launch a new pre and post-natal online workout platform by ‘Couch To Fitness’ - funded by in partnership with

The nationwide PR campaign aims to reach and encourage women who are pregnant and those who have recently given birth (within 12 months) to sign up and start the free online workouts.

Born Barikor said: “I am delighted with the appointment of EIGHTY4RED and excited to see how our new collaboration plays out. Although Our Parks is 8 years in the making this will be our first real focused PR partnership and a new area for us. We look forward to amplifying our story with EIGHTY4RED and our programmes reaching more communities.”

We had the pleasure to work with ahead of the 2022, to make some noise around the amazing work they’re doing with the Refugee Run Club! 🏃

Three of their runners completed their first-ever half marathon just months after arriving in the UK and taking on their first 5km. 🥳

- Hamzah arrived in the UK from Sudan 14 months ago

- In May he ran his first 5km in 24 minutes

- On 16th October he smashed his first-ever half marathon with a time of 01:18 – coming 44th

“Joining the Refugee Run Club has changed my life. Getting up each day became difficult with the trauma of my past and the uncertainty around my future, but training has given me a purpose. Seeing improvements each day has given me real motivation to continue to improve. My next goal after completing the Oxford Half is to run a full marathon.” - Hamzah.

What an achievement! 💥

From finalist in the PR Week Purpose Awards to improving diversity in triathlon; we take a look back at a feel-good summer to remember! 💖

Our recent purposeful and impactful campaigns include:

🎶 'Safe Spaces Now - In Music' calling for “Greater Safety Measures For Women & Marginalised Genders At Live Music Events” - with Sony Music, and was nominated as a finalist at this year’s Purpose Awards for ‘Best Equality and Inclusion Cause Campaign’.

🏃‍♀️ The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, officially started the Hackney Half 2022, at - the UK’s Largest outdoor Festival of Fitness with ​​70,000 people across the weekend.

🏊 We successfully launched a new grassroots youth sports initiative with and to help combat and provide a solution to improve diversity in swimming and triathlons.

We are so proud to be working with to create this important and purposeful campaign for , and ahead of the world-renowned on 10th July to create:

A solidarity campaign inviting people to take to the streets of London to run for safety, for change and for freedom.

Supporters of the campaign will run alongside thousands of others through the streets of Westminster for the only closed-road 10K in London this Summer. The team will run united past the Houses of Parliament to call for our public spaces to be safer and more inclusive for all. Vital funds raised will go towards delivering the educational programmes needed to inspire behavioural change through partnership with UN Women UK’s initiative. 

Launched by in 2020, the aim of the initiative is to make the design of public spaces, and the behaviour within them, free from sexual harassment. Solutions are being implemented by partners in public transport, festivals, nightlife, workplaces, educational institutions and online spaces.

Limelight Sports Club will be donating £5 from the sale of each Stylist Strong Women x Safe Spaces Now ASICS London 10K ticket to the Safe Spaces Now initiative. Runners taking part will also be given the option to fundraise for the cause. 

UN Women UK is aiming to train 10,000 people to prevent sexual harassment in public spaces this year. Funds raised will help the charity deliver training in schools, universities and local communities to tackle sexual harassment and abuse from the root by improving understanding of consent and gender-based violence.
