Congratulations to our subscriptions manager Paul Fowling who has notched up 20 years working at Electric Marketing. He has compiled, proof-read and dispatched hundreds of monthly New Appointments lists, put together thousands of lists and data quotes and trained dozens of telephone researchers. And not forgetting his baking - no other triple chocolate brownies come close! Thank You Paul!

It is with enormous sadness and regret that we learned this week that James Broad has died. James was a big part of the Electric Marketing story and he worked with us from 2000 for around ten years. Always witty, knowledgeable, entertaining and as someone said today 'the most sarcastic man in the world', we will miss him greatly. Here's a clip from his appearance on Top of the Pops in June 1998 in his other life, away from lists, as a pop star.

Performed entirely live! Note the England flags as certain members of the band were keen to support our national side. I couldn't give a toss.

The lights are on and everyone is working from home.

Electric Marketing remains open for business during the current crisis, but everyone who uses public transport to get to work is now set up to work from home.

With two people in the office to answer the phone and to deal with unforeseen circs, we are pretty sure we can continue to offer our email marketing services.

Let's hope that we can all get back to normal soon.
