Moving house with in tow can be a challenge, but there are several things you can do to reduce the stress and keep everyone :

1. Arrange for a separate place for pets on moving day

2. Set up a comfortable place for pets on arrival at your new home

3.Try to keep your pet's routine when you move

4. Help your pet get familiar with their new area in advance of the move

5. Keep indoors for a little while at first

6. Talk to old neighbours about the move in case your pet visits

7. Tell your removal company up front about any pets included in your move

One of the best things about moving is that it provides the perfect motivation to clear some of those books that have been lingering on your shelves. 📦📕📗📘📙📓📔📚📖

We’ve got some well-honed (and simple) strategies for moving a ton a books...

1. Cull your shelves - you might not need to move them all

2. Books are heavy - use small boxes to prevent accidents

3. Pack strategically - Keep books that are shelved together in the same boxes

4. Label boxes in a way that makes sense to you

5. Box them up the early

6. Pack carefully - pack the books spine down to protect them. You can also lay books flat or pack them standing up.

7. Don’t pack all of your books! Make sure you leave out a few options to read just before and after your move.

8. Unpack the books ASAP & get it out of the way!
