BREAKING IT DOWN 🙌 I recently met a founder at an event, who told me she had been stalling on starting her business for two years, even though she had an amazing idea, because she didn’t know whether to get a website or trademark her name first. 🤯

So, this is me breaking down EXACTLY what you should do to start a business, in order, step by step, to help anyone who feels stuck.

This will cost you barely anything at all, as you can see, but it is extraordinarily effective!!

I see too many small business owners wasting money on too many things at the start, or spending SO long overthinking it. The key is to do neither!

Absolutely, you can invest in more later on, but this is a sure-fire way to get started AND can build you a six-figure business if you stick at it with consistency and discipline.

LOVE THIS ONE! 😍 Tips and template 👇

This is a brilliant Reel to show off you going somewhere, a day at work, or you doing anything at all!

It works so well because it is SO visually satisfying to watch with the beats of the audio and the short clips all syncing up that you can’t help but stay on it all the way to the end!

How to do it:

✱ Save this audio!

✱ Grab my template! Click on the three dots and “Use template in Edits”

✱ It will jump you to the Edits app, where you can delete any of my text you don’t want, and the timing of the videos to match the audio is perfectly done for you!

✱ Make sure you add a hook to last the length of the first 6.2 second video, or keep my hook and satisfying extra text that appears on the beats!

✱ Then add short video clips after of you doing the thing!

It works for every niche! Fancy trying it?! 🙌

This audio is perfect for a B-roll reel showing behind the scenes of what you do! A little chance to peek into your world.

This is especially good for anyone whose niche consumes their brain 24/7 (errr, all of us?!) 

How to do it:

✱ Save this audio!

✱ Grab my template! Click on the three dots and “Use template in Edits”

✱ It will jump you to the Edits app, where you can delete any of my text you don’t want, and the timing of the videos to match the audio is perfectly done for you!

✱ Make sure you keep a hook to last the length of the first 3.5 second video. I like:

“I know I should sleep but the voices in my head go…”

Or “What your brain feels like 24/7 as a [what you do]...”

Yesterday in two halves 🤣🥰 What an absolute joy it was to host ’s Design Your Growth event in partnership with yesterday 🙌

I’ve used Canva for years, so this was beyond a privilege! And to be in a room full of inspiring small business owners and founders really has filled by cup more than I can say. ☺️

THANK YOU so much to everyone who came and I probably gave massive slightly delirious hugs to 🤣 and to Lizzy .socials for sending most of these videos as I basically took none I was too excited to chat!!

And it’s back to earth this weekend as every parent I’m sure can relate to - does anyone else sometimes feel like they live a double life?! 😅 Right, off to change a nappy…

JUMP ON THIS ONE SOON! 😍

Just this template to show off literally anything! From clothes, to interior design, to actual art, this is a Reel for anyone with something visual!

How to pull this one together:

✱ Save this audio!

✱ First video = 2.3 seconds

✱ Add “The theme is…” over the top

✱ Then jump to showing off your thing with it over the top e.g. “Outfits you can wear from day to night”, “Rooms I styled”, “Ocean-inspired art”, whatever it is.

✱ Timings for the videos after the theme reveal are:

✨ OR click the three dots and ‘use as a template in Edits’ to easily make it! ✨

Top tip: add h a slow pan or zoom in on each clip from side to side to make it look cinematic!

This is a brilliantly engaging way to use video to softly sell, nurture, and grow! So, if you have something visual, try it!

THE 4 TYPES OF REEL! 💡🤳 People often ask me how long a Reel should be, so use this as a guide and make sure you mix up all four types!

I see accounts saying that Reels don’t work for them, but they only post short B roll Reels! On both of my accounts, these only make up a small percentage of my content. So, this is your sign to try all four!

1️⃣ The short B Roll Reels with text on the screen or a payoff (i.e. useful information) you send people to the caption for.

2️⃣ Behind-the-scenes or storytelling Reels where you want to use trending audio and make them satisfying to watch.

3️⃣ Quick explainers or humour, great for showing something fast or making people laugh.

4️⃣ Longer educational or storytime - usually direct-to-camera talking Reels, where you have a yap about a topic!

Use this as a guide to length and content! And remember to NEVER go over 3 minutes, or it won’t be eligible for the Reels tab.
