KNOWLEDGE WORKERS ARE WORKERS WHOSE MAIN CAPITAL IS KNOWLEDGE. DRUCKER)
The first function of the INDOOR Architecture network is to make this capital in knowledges for our partners and team-members more productive and more profitable. Secondly, we share new knowledge to our partners in order to find together new designs, techniques and material applications,we can exclusively offer to our clients.

Third, we organize innovations in a systematic process to gain additional profits for our partners. This gives us the ability to make fast decisions, based on closeness to performance, closeness to the market, closeness to technology, closeness to the changes in society, environment, and demographics, all of which are seen and utilized as opportunities for our innovations. As a result the INDOOR Architecture network has the ability to attract and hold the knowledge specialists on whom it depends in the team. Architects, interior designers and property developers are very often facing similar problems. Do you acquire too little interesting and demanding projects, in which your accumulated expertise is really put to use ? Do you struggle to gain constantly enough projects to keep your staff on the payroll without loosing profitability ? Do you lack flexibility, when your customer frequently comes up with new ideas and whishes during the project implementation ? You cannot compensate inconsistencies in planning, capacities and personnel without loosing your profit ? The INDOOR Architecture network provides you with challenging work - positive opportunities to pursue your interests and to solve problems.Continuous innovation will be part of your work in our network. We know that our associated partners are self-directed, we only provide the leadership and support you need. We know that continuous learning in your field of specialty and profession is extremely important. We give our affiliates the opportunity to make their work important. THE INDOOR KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
The INDOOR Knowledge Management is an open organization, accessible both to highly educated people and to people who, for whatever reason, did not gain access to advanced education in their early years. Our system imparts knowledge both as substance and as process - what the Germans differentiate as "Wissen" and "Können". We equip our partners and students with the tools to perform, to contribute and to be profitable. The INDOOR Knowledge Management is focused on improved performance, competitive advantages, innovations, the sharing of lessons learned, integration and continuous improvement of the associated partner network. Knowledge workers spend 38% of their time searching for information (McDermott, 2005). This is a great potential for increasing efficiency. THE BENEFITS OF INDOOR KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT TO OUR PARTNERS
We consider the productivity of your work to be the quality, not quantity, of the output of your work. We are focused on the personal growth opportunities and the knowledge transfer to our partners. You will work with associates in a team depending on the assignment, but we understand that you often prefer to work alone. We give you the feedback you need, but there will be no criticism of your work. THE INDOOR INNOVATION MANAGEMENT
Innovation that is the methodical application of knowledge, to produce new knowledge. It is not, as so much American folklore asserts, "inspiration" and best done by loners in their garages. It requires systematic effort and a high degree of organization. But it also requires both, decentralization and diversity, that is the opposite of central planning and centralization. We know above all that making your knowledge productive is a management responsibility. It requires systematic, organized application of knowledge to knowledge acquisition. KNOWLEDGE IS PRODUCTIVE ONLY, IF IT IS APPLIED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. To make knowledge productive further requires that it is clearly focused. It has to be highly concentrated. Whether done by an individual or by a team, the knowledge effort requires purpose and organization. It is not a "flash of genius". It is hard work. TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK ! CONSIDER THE NEED FOR ROOTS IN INTERIOR DESIGN MARKET
Interior design is particularly affected by the impact of globalization on people. The main reason for tribalism is neither politics nor economics. It is existential. People need roots in a transnational world, they need community. We live increasingly in a transnational world. But we feel the need for local roots. The need to belong also to a local community and culture. Tribalism thrives precisely, because people increasingly realize, that what happens in Osaka affects people in Austria, who have no idea, where Osaka is and can hardly find it on the map. Latin American immigrants into Los Angeles - whether from Mexico or Central America - become American citizens as soon as they possibly can. They expect to have the same opportunities as native-born Americans have. They expect their children to receive the same access to education, to careers, to jobs. But they also expect to be able to maintain their Hispanic identity, Hispanic culture and a Hispanic community. THE MORE TRANSNATIONAL THE WORLD BECOMES, THE MORE TRIBAL IT WILL ALSO BE. Precisely because the world has become transnational in so many ways - and must become ever more - so people need to define themselves in terms they can understand. They need a geographic, a linguistic, a religious and a cultural community, which is visible to them and which - to use an old cliche - they can "get their arms around." interior designer

For interior architects this results in an increasing need to provide additional capabilities, with the aim to offer extraordinary design solutions, whose realization requires special knowledges of different local cultures.
