Parenting can be tough, and sometimes we all need a little bit of support ๐Ÿ’Œ

Here at PANDAS we want you to know that our helpline is available FOR YOU. On those days you feel like you're not coping and everything is a massive struggle, we are there.

Don't underestimate the power of talking things through, being heard and understood and having someone there to listen. Often it's easier to talk to a stranger, and our trained volunteers are there to offer support and advice ๐Ÿ“ž

We exist for all parents and carers, and if you are worried about someone in that position we can offer help and support too.

The phone line is open between 11am - 10pm. Please donโ€™t hesitate to call

This course was designed for volunteers - support people who don't want to spend 6 hours on cpd but who DO want guidance on how to listen safely to traumatic stories. It covers the basics in one hour. If you listen to people while they are pregnant or after birth or during breastfeeding, this might help. Learn what trauma is, how people recover, how to listen effectively, how to spot when to refer on, how to protect your emotional state. Like all the courses that I've designed, the aim is to change how you feel, not just what you know.
