The Connector

"The Connector you will always hear, they will be bouncing around trying to share with you their latest and greatest idea and they truly believe they going to change your life and resistance is usually futile. They are lovers of life, endlessy positive. Life is an adventure to be shared with as many people as possible and at their best they bring life, opportunity and incredibly collaborative heart for people inside teams."

This is an actual description of me and my personality profile test.

One of the biggest game changers in my life, career and success was learning more about who I am, embracing the best bits, outsourcing the bits I am not so good at and stepping into my strengths wholeheartedly and confidently.

This part of the journey saw me going down the rabbit hole of personality profiling; DISC, Enneagram, Wealth Dynamics, Myer Briggs, to name a few.

It's a fascinating subject and makes me want to ask you some questions like...

"Who are you?"
"Do you really know?"
"Are you being the best boss you can be?"

This is something that we work with you on at Sway Evolve and guess what the first bit of discovery is free (for the moment, so get in quick!)

This little golden nugget of info was available to me to watch in a bitesize netflix style series of videos literally walking me through my best and worst bits after a quick test answering some questions.

Heeeeey, I have been super quiet over on here and a little preoccupied with LinkedIn! Who finds it hard juggling all the noise on the different social channels? I definitely find it a bit overwhelming..

Anyway... I am going to be sharing more of what we are up to at Sway Evolve..

First thing... I have some new team members and they are incredible doing incredible things for our clients.

Second I have been levelling up and added to my skills with 2 new qualifications Business Analysis and Scrum Master / Agile Project Management.

Lastly lets not forget fun.... how was your weekend? I have been day raving backstage at Printworks watching my friend drop one of her new tracks. It was surreal.

Business Manager
£28k pro rata
Flexible part time hours up to 25 hours a week.
Based at the office in Ingatestone and client sites in Essex.

Office Administrator
This is a kickstarter role for 18-24 year olds.
Minimum wage plus £1.50
Up to 35 hours per week
Based in Ingatestone.


Overview of Company:

An innovative company established in 2019, we provide a range of services to trades and construction business owners. Including, but not limited to; business strategy, full business management, sales and marketing, operational streamlining, team development and money management. It is an exciting time to become part of our team as our business is growing rapidly!

You will be working in a fun and enthusiastic environment with the potential to move your own career forward with the full support to grow your skills in this dynamic and fast paced start up business.

Working closely with the CEO you will be responsible for delivery of the strategy set out by our team of experts and the business management for our clients.

This role will offer a variety of duties and we are looking for an energetic, self-starter with initiative.

You will be part of a close knit team that really have a great hands on approach to their roles. There may also be scope to help out in other roles within the company as it builds. For anyone that is entrepreneurial minded this will provide boots on the ground business learnings as well as personal development growth.

I really did think a home office was a good idea 😂🙈 until I get reminded that the kids have drawn all over my whiteboard the moment my clients walk in to have a meeting and I look up to see various pieces of art scrawled across the view. Today's work of art is dragon worms by Hudson.

On other occasions its been love notes to the girls boyfriends 😂

Do you know the difference between a coach and a consultant?

Thanks Ben Meconi for the book recommendation yesterday I cannot wait to read Rocket Fuel.

My brief explanation in this video explains the difference between the service you'll get from a one stop shop business management consultancy like Sway Evolve compared to using a coach.

We are do'ers, we roll our sleeves up and get involved with your business to make it happen, we become part of your team believing in your goals and dreams and make sure we do what we need to to get you there. We get the job done.

Coaches are amazing when utilised but they do not work for everyone.

Everywhere you look you will find another business coach pop up - it’s like the new business must have!

In theory it is a cost-effective way to get specific advice to help you grow or get your business off the ground.

It is like a blind date.

Some coaches have very little business experience themselves and shouldn’t really be dishing out advice.

On the other hand, there are some amazing coaches out there that are truly great at what they do, but if you don’t commit to doing the work yourself you will never truly get your monies worth!

Even if you do commit to carrying out the work, it can be difficult getting what you want from sub-contractors and it can be challenging to pick the great ones from the scammers.

My vision for Sway has always revolved around this.

You see, I truly see the value of having a great coach/expert to take your business to the next level and give you the life you truly want, but I also know the obstacles involved in implementing that advice.

At Sway, we review you and your business. We help you set goals, improve or even replace your current processes and procedures and if you need help implementing it, we will project manage this for you using our own contractors!
