Gabby Harding from Aura Architecture was this week's featured speaker. Gabby spends her days designing fantastic homes for home owners and property developers across London. Gabby showed us some of the amazing designs her and her team mates have been producing and talked us through the process of designing and managing a build project.

This year, Gabby is our secretory treasurer. She looks after the finances of the chapter and manages the visitor host team, ensuring the visitor experience is top notch!

Our meeting last week was a little out of the ordinary as we day tripped to Lille for our summer social!

We enjoyed speed 1-2-1s on the train, a very tricky quiz (congratulations to the winners who all won a red or black beret), a delicious lunch, and a tour of Lille in beautiful vintage Citroen 2CVs (with champagne 🥂) then finally drinks in the town square before heading home to London.

A huge thank you to our social secretary Catherine Simmonds and to our chapter’s travel expert James O’Leary - Travel Counsellors for organising such a jam packed fun day!

Rosalind Furlong is BNI Nightingale’s Vice-President

Rosalind is a Wandsworth-based portrait photographer, specialising in headshots, business branding, families and theatre publicity

This is Rosalind’s second year as a BNI member and she’s loving being our VP! She says: “As well as growing my own business I’m helping people in the chapter grow theirs too through our system of referrals. In the last year we’ve passed over a million pounds worth of business between the chapter members”

Nick Whittington is BNI Nightingale’s President this year; and when he’s not leading us in networking Nick is running Cavendish and Country, a removal and storage company based in Wimbledon

Nick is a long standing member of BNI Nightingale and he’s excited to be on the Leadership Team. Nick’s aims for BNI Nightingale during his presidential year are to increase the number of visitors and grow the chapter in both size and business generated
