💙 PROSTATE CANCER & BLACK MEN’S HEALTH 💙

An important evening of real talk, real answers and real support.

Black men are disproportionately affected by prostate cancer, yet conversations around men’s health can sometimes be difficult to start. This event is about creating a safe, welcoming space to talk openly, ask questions and get informed.

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of taking two of our work experience students to the .london Youth Summit.

What seemed like just a day out turned into a truly impactful experience. The feedback from both young people was incredibly positive, and they were so inspired that they created this video to capture their experience and reflect on what they learned.

At 2inspire Academy, we believe that exposing young people to new environments, ideas and opportunities can spark confidence, ambition and new ways of thinking. Sometimes it’s these experiences outside the classroom that leave the biggest impression.

A huge thank you to for providing such a thought-provoking event and for creating a platform that empowers young people to have their voices heard and broaden their horizons. We’re proud to have been part of it and look forward to many more opportunities like this. 💙

🌟 YOUNG, GIFTED & TALENTED: YOUNG TRADERS CORNER 🌟

As part of our new Young, Gifted & Talented Pilot, we’re excited to launch a dedicated Young Traders Corner at the final Cygnet Square Community Day of the summer.

Over the years, we’ve welcomed several talented young entrepreneurs to trade at our markets, and we’ve been continually inspired by their creativity, passion and business ideas. This year, we want to create a dedicated space just for them.

🛍️ Young Traders Corner will provide complimentary trading spaces for young people aged 25 and under, giving them the opportunity to showcase their products, test business ideas, gain experience and build confidence in a supportive community environment.

Whether you’re selling handmade products, artwork, clothing, baked goods, offering a service, or simply want to take your first step into entrepreneurship, we’d love to hear from you.

By taking part, you’ll have the opportunity to:

2inspire Academy CIC is now entering a brand new chapter.

In March, 2inspire CIC, separate from the Academy, was set up as another arm of the organisation, designed to support the development, growth, and funding of these impactful projects… and many more that are already in the pipeline.

And with a newly established leadership team behind it, (Bukola Joel and Charelle Anerville) we’re building the structure, the vision, and the partnerships needed to take this work even further.

This new arm will allow us to reach more young people, women, and individuals facing social and economic challenges… especially those who may feel locked out of opportunity.

2inspire Academy will continue as the delivery arm, where the work happens on the ground.

And 2inspire will act as the funding arm, enabling us to unlock resources, build sustainable partnerships, and expand our impact.

Together, this creates a stronger model, one that doesn’t just deliver change, but sustains it.

At 2inspire, we don’t just run programmes… we create opportunities in spaces where young people gain real experience, and are supported to grow. 💫

Through our monthly and at , young people are given opportunities to work within live community and hospitality environments — learning whilst earning.

From customer service and hospitality to event delivery, teamwork, leadership and communication skills, young people gain hands-on experience that helps to upskill them, build confidence, enhance their CVs, and prepare them for future employment opportunities.

Alongside this, our Upskill the Youth programme has delivered workshops in areas such as DJing, creative media, and personal development, giving young people the chance to explore different interests and career pathways.

We are now developing the Upskill the Youth programme further by working towards accredited training opportunities, allowing young people to gain recognised qualifications alongside practical experience — creating stronger pathway routes into employment, entrepreneurship, and long-term progression.

Our don’t just provide temporary opportunities, but we create real pathway routes into external employment, long-term development, and brighter futures. 💫

At 2inspire Academy CIC, we don’t just recruit and train young people to work within our own spaces, we also support other organisations with recruitment and training. This is all part of our growing Upskill the Youth programme to help tackle youth unemployment across Bexley and Greenwich.
