Still waiting to build a full website before you “officially” launch? You don’t need to.
Spoiler: most VAs don’t need a website to start signing clients – just one strong page.
A full website is nice to have. But a landing page? That’s your fast track to getting booked.

A simple landing page can be enough to position you professionally, showcase your offer, and get people booking in.

The key? Make it clear, focused, and easy to take action.

If you’ve read through the carousel, you now know what essentials to include, so let’s talk about how to actually build one.

Here are a few platforms that make it super easy to get started (even if you’re not techy):

✅ Carrd – minimal and cost-effective
✅ Mailerlite – great if you also want to build your email list
✅ Flodesk – ideal for clean, aesthetic landing pages
✅ Squarespace – brilliant templates and simple drag-and-drop builder
✅ Notion – not your traditional page builder, but it works well for showcasing your services in a creative way
✅ Canva – yes, you can even create a landing page mock-up and link it with a form

You don’t need to overthink it. Start with one page. Make it count.

Girl, let us tell you something..
You don’t need a full-blown website to start attracting clients.
Let’s stop overcomplicating things.

A simple, clear landing page can do a lot of the heavy lifting for you, especially if:

👉 You're just getting started
👉 You offer one or two core services
👉 You want to look professional without the overwhelm

Here’s what a good landing page can do:

✅ Showcase what you do and who you do it for
✅ Share your packages or offer a way to book a discovery call
✅ Build trust with testimonials or social proof
✅ Capture emails or leads with a freebie (if you're ready for that step)

Most importantly, it shows you're serious. That you’ve got your sh*t together.
And that you’re open for business.

You don’t need 6 pages and a blog to start showing up.
You just need one focused page that speaks directly to your dream client.

Still stuck in Canva playing with logos and fonts?
Create the landing page first. You can always grow later.

Want help building yours? That’s literally what we teach inside Lead Her Way.

👠 Simple tools
👠 Smart strategy
👠 No fluff

Let’s get your services out there.
You’re ready, even if your inner critic says otherwise.

What if we told you that one of your VA services, the one you’re really good at, could become a premium offer?

Maybe you're a specialist in systems, tech, inbox detoxing, or even setting up CRMs.

Now imagine packaging that up into a clear, compelling offer...
→ Slap it on a landing page
→ Connect Stripe to take payments upfront
→ Add your calendar so people can book and get started

That’s it.

Use platforms like ConvertKit, Leadpages, or even Canva Websites, quick, simple, and clean. Promote it, walk away... and just watch as the sales come in.

You won’t even need to open your laptop.
(Well... maybe just to check your bookings. 😂)

Set it up right once, and let it work for you.

Struggling to get people to bite on your offers?

Here are 5 simple tips to create a marketing offer that actually converts:

✅ Know your audience
🔥 Make it irresistible
✂️ Keep it simple
🔒 Make it exclusive
📣 Promote it like mad

The best offer in the world won’t convert if no one sees it or if it’s too vague. Keep it focused, targeted, and easy to say YES to.

This is how we lead our way.

Which tip are you working on right now? Let’s chat in the comments, our Lead Her Way community would love to know. 👇

🧠 You:
"I thought the call went well.
They said they’d get back to me.
I followed up. I showed up.
And then… 'We’ve decided to go with someone else.'"

🎤 Reality check:
That sting? It’s real. But it doesn’t define you.

✨ Someone choosing someone else doesn’t mean you weren’t good enough.
It means they weren’t your client.
It means your energy is now free for someone who gets what you do.
Who sees your value without needing a pitch.
Who’s a match for the way you work and lead.

👑 Reminder:
You’re not here to convince people.
You’re here to attract the ones who are already looking for someone like you.

“You’re too expensive.”

Yep, we’ve heard it.

And it hits harder when they say it after comparing you to someone offering $10 services from overseas.

But here’s what they’re not seeing:
→ You understand their business.
→ You’re on the same wavelength.
→ You bring UK-based responsiveness.
→ You notice the details others miss.
→ You think strategically, not just task by task.

They’re not just paying for tasks, they’re investing in a partner who gets it.
Objections like this aren’t personal. They’re a chance to reframe and educate, without discounting your worth.

“Overdelivering is not the flex you think it is.”

Too many VAs are burning out trying to prove their worth by constantly going above and beyond.

You’re not being helpful. You’re being overworked.
And that’s not the brand we’re building over here.

💭 Exceeding expectations should be a choice, not your default mode.
Going the extra mile is great when it’s strategic, but not when it comes at the cost of your peace, your time, or your worth.

✅ Value isn’t about doing more for less.
It’s about doing what was agreed and charging fairly for the rest.

Respect your scope, so your clients will too.

Ever glanced at a price tag and thought, "This must be top-notch!" Or conversely, "This is so cheap!"? If yes, then that is the psychological power of pricing.

Consider this scenario: you're struggling to get leads. The idea of slashing prices tempts you. Surely lowering the prices will lead to more sales? It might… But hold on just a minute! What do you think will happen next? 🤔

Your competitors are just as cunning as you. If you slash prices, what's stopping them from doing the same? Before you know it, you're in a high-speed race to the bottom. And nobody wins in this race.

So, what's the alternative? Instead of asking, "How low can I go?" try asking, "What can I offer my ideal client that would make them willingly pay more?" What extra value can I provide or what pain points can I solve?

Coming full circle back to the reason you don’t want to lower prices, you’ll be perceived as a “cheap” option. This might be fine if your sole goal is to make a few bucks and you’re not really concerned about your brand. But if not…If you want to offer something unique and talk-worthy instead, then lowering your prices is the wrong way to go.

Instead offer value so irresistible, your customers will happily loosen their purse strings.
Also, remember that the quality of your clients is often correlated with how much they’re willing to pay (lower-paying clients want to micromanage).

MYTH: Saying “yes” to everything is how you grow a successful business.
TRUTH: Saying “yes” to everything is how you burn out, not build up.

The online space loves to shout about freedom and flexibility…
But what they don’t tell you is that real freedom comes from structure, strategy, and the confidence to say no.

You didn’t leave your 9–5 to carry toxic habits into your own business.

Hustling with no plan

Taking on misaligned work out of fear

Saying yes when your gut says no

That’s not freedom, that’s chaos in a cute Canva template. 😆

Build with intention.
Be clear on your goals.
Stay rooted in your why and unapologetic about your how.

The business you want? It’s on the other side of better boundaries and bolder decisions.

💬 Ready to lead your business on your terms? Drop a 💛 if you're done saying yes out of fear and building with purpose instead.

She came to us burnt out, and she hadn’t even hit her first client milestone yet.

Why?
Because she was trying to keep up with what every other VA on Instagram was doing.

She was offering all the services.
She was creating fancy reels, signing up to every freebie, and spending hours stressing over templates, hashtags, and what she “should” be doing.

It looked like she was building a business.
But really? She was building a pressure cooker.

When we sat down with her inside Lead Her Way, it became clear.
She’d lost sight of why she became a VA in the first place.

She didn’t want to be a social media manager or a graphic designer or a podcast specialist.
She just wanted a steady, well-run business that fit her lifestyle, her values, and her skills.

So we stripped it right back.

👣 We helped her clarify what she actually wanted to offer
🧭 We built a plan around her zone of genius
🚫 And we muted the noise. No more copying what everyone else was doing

Fast forward a few weeks and she now shows up with confidence, clarity and calm.
She’s landing aligned clients and setting boundaries like a pro because she’s finally staying in her lane.

The takeaway?
You don’t need to do what everyone else is doing.
You just need to do what works for you.
