Excited to announce that I have been invited back as a Judge for the 2020 Business Book Awards which highlights
leadership, change and sustainability in
business through the promotion of business
books and their authors.

The experience of being a judge at last year's awards was one of the most rewarding and insightful highlights of my year and I feel so privileged to be back for 2020!

I've spotted a good number of brilliant entries already and look forward to digging in!

Here are some thoughts on the election results, the mixed emotions, the surprise and the shock.

Leaders, how much of what's happened in the UK elections reflects what's happening within your organisation?

Diversity is not just about inviting people to be there, it's about making sure that their voices are being expressed and that you hear them.

As I keep telling leadership teams, I'm often more worried when they say there are no disagreements in their teams.

We need to create safe and inclusive cultures that allow people to disagree, ensure we equip them with the skills to do so in a healthy manner and as leaders, make sure we're open to influence.

When we as leaders start to recognise that leadership is a hat that can be worn by anyone across our organisation, we start to maximise the talent we already have in our midst.
