On 30th June, TEMBO attended the Women in Exhibitions Summer Party! The weather was mild and dry, perfect for a rooftop bar, with the disco ball shimmering in the distance.

We loved spending the evening with such a supportive and friendly group of peers. The event had a relaxed vibe for catching up, networking, and making genuine connections. It was extra exciting because Sketched By Siena were at the party too - creating lovely illustrations for guests to take away and keep as a memento of the evening.

Women in Exhibitions Network was created to empower women in the industry whilst nurturing the next generation of female leaders. Our very own Helen Omoh-Mensah is a mentor for Women in Exhibitions, and TEMBO have been partners supporting the visibility of Women in Exhibitions for a number of years.

Caroline Gourlay mentioned in her speech just how packed the room was at Bubba Oasis—it’s amazing to see so much buzz, growth, and genuine interest in our industry right now. Such an uplifting and encouraging night!

First walk, done. 💚

This week, Team TEMBO completed the first of our five 5K walks in support of The Girls’ Network.

The Girls' Network inspire and empower girls from the least advantaged communities by connecting them with mentors and a network of professional role models who are women.

It’s a cause our CEO Kate really believes in, and both Kate and Helen are signed up as mentors.

We’ll be walking every two weeks, each time with a different colour theme, to keep raising awareness and hopefully lots of donations along the way. We all wore green, as best we could, to represent The Girls’ Network colours and show our support for a charity doing brilliant work.

We’d be so grateful for any support you can give. Every donation helps The Girls’ Network continue its amazing work with young women.
