💖 A Quick Update & A Huge Thank You 💖
​Hello everyone,
​I wanted to take a moment to reach out and share a little update on where I’ve been lately. Over the last while, I have been stepping back from the day-to-day running of the business to focus on my family, supporting my son Peter through his recent diagnosis and treatment.
​Family always comes first, and taking this time to be by his side has been incredibly important. I am now gently and slowly returning back to work, and I am so looking forward to catching up with you all.
​I want to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to all of our wonderful clients. Your patience, deep understanding, and kind well-wishes over these past weeks have meant more to me and my family than words can say. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive community.
​Finally, a huge shoutout to my amazing team. You have kept everything running so efficiently and seamlessly in my absence, ensuring our high standards never slipped. I am so proud of you all and incredibly lucky to have you.
​Thank you all again for your continued support, and I look forward to being back in touch properly soon!

​What your week looks like:
​☕ Swapping stories over a cuppa.
​🚗 Being the "chauffeur" for social outings or hair appointments.
​🥗 Prepping a favorite meal or helping keep a home tidy.
​🛍️ Turning a grocery run into a fun trip out.
​The Perks:
​£13.50/hr + Fuel Allowance.
​Flexibility: 20–25 hours per week.
​No Stress: Full training provided (no experience? No problem!).
Paid shadow shifts.
Weekly pay.

Helping Hand Lossiemouth is growing!
We are looking for kind, dependable, and local people to join our small, friendly team. If you have a big heart and love helping others, we want to hear from you.
​The Role: 30 hours per week
This isn't just a job - it’s about making someone’s day better. You’ll be helping clients in the community with:
​Befriending & Companionship (a cuppa and a chat goes a long way!)
​Household Support (Light housework & laundry)
​Shopping Trips
​Meal Preparation
​Accompanying/Support to Appointments, Clubs, Social Events,Outings or even the hairdresser
​What’s in it for you?
​ £13.50 per hour
​ Fuel Allowance
​ 28 Days Holiday
​ Uniform Provided
​ Full Training Given – No previous experience in care is necessary!
​Requirements:
Must be 18+
Must have a valid Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

I’m thinking about how proud I am of my staff who have been battling the elements this last week.
The conditions are some of the toughest we’ve seen, yet they haven't wavered in their mission to deliver support.
​It takes a special kind of person to head out into a storm because they know someone is counting on them. I am so lucky to work with such a selfless, "can-do" group of people.

​As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself looking back with a heart full of gratitude. This year has been defined by the incredible connections we’ve made and the privilege of supporting our community.

Without your dedication, your compassion, and your hard work, Helping Hand simply wouldn't be what it is today. You go above and beyond every single day, and I am so grateful to have you all by my side. 🤝❤️
​In our line of work, we don’t just have "clients" - we have people who become part of our lives. As we celebrate walking in to a New Year, we are holding a very special place in our thoughts for those dear clients who are no longer with us. They remain in our hearts and on our minds as we move into 2026. 🤍
