Aquarius wins ‘Sailing Yacht of the Year’ at the World Superyacht Awards held in Venice over the weekend. As well as winning ‘sailing yachts 40m and above’ category.

The 65m Ketch was built by Royal Huisman and delivered in 2024.

It has been absolute pleasure being part of the design team alongside and Godfrey Cray as the owners project manager.

Our world sometimes gives us the rare privilege to spend small amounts of time with extraordinary people. HH The Aga Khan was one such person and we are very sorry to hear of his passing after knowing him for many years.
His grace, elegance and love of detail combined with a passion to push boundaries, inspired everyone who had the privilege to be involved to reach for new heights.
While he will be missed by many his legacies on land and sea live on.

The launch of AQUARIUS 65m Ketch in Amsterdam last week.
The second collaboration with the same team GodfreyCray and Mark Whiteley Design for the same owner of the 56m Ketch Aquarius (now Aspara)
It’s a big compliment when the owners only change is for a bigger version of the original. We’re looking forward seeing her out for sail trials soon.
