We’re delighted to support LIFE Outreach, a newly opened community drop-in right here in Portglenone.

LIFE has been created as a welcoming space where people can come exactly as they are for a coffee, a chat, some company or simply a place to feel connected.

Alongside the drop-in, Food for LIFE provides practical support through a food bank for individuals and families who may be struggling.

LIFE is also there for people facing loneliness, financial pressure, family difficulties, personal challenges or simply needing someone to listen.

At Bulrush, we’re proud to have chosen LIFE Outreach as one of the charities we support through fundraising and sponsorship.

It’s particularly special to us as our Production Manager, Bryan, is involved with LIFE.
We’re delighted to see the doors now open and to support the incredible work being done in our local community.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our valued colleague and friend Blair Courtney on the 18th July 2026.

Blair was an integral part of the Bulrush team, who began his career here as an operator but after hard work and dedication had recently been promoted to Charge Hand. He was known not only for his good work ethic but also his kindness, warmth and outgoing nature.

His contributions to the team and his positive spirit will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege to work alongside him.

Our thoughts are with Blairs family especially his brother Scott our colleague, his parents Colin and Marcelle, his partner Keira and daughter Freya and all those who loved him during this difficult time. He will always be remembered as a cherished member of the Bulrush team.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace

Bulrush had the pleasure of attending the CAFRE Industry Support Program.

It was a great day connecting with others across the industry and catching up with familiar faces.

Representing the company was Ann McCann pictured with Jayden Booth. We really enjoyed being part of the event and appreciated the opportunity attend.

Thank you to CAFRE for hosting such a great day. 😊

We’re proud to announce that Life Outreach, Portglenone has been chosen as Bulrush’s Charity of the Year for 2025/26 💙

Life Outreach does incredible work supporting people and families in our local community, and this cause is especially close to home for one of our managers, Bryan Lennox, who is heavily involved with the organisation.

To mark the start of our partnership, we’ve made an initial donation of £5,000. Alongside this, our team recently held an employee Christmas raffle, raising £1,180, which Bulrush was delighted to match, bringing the total donation from the raffle to £2,360 🙌

A huge thank you to our staff for their generosity, and to the local businesses who kindly donated prizes for the raffle:
👏 Convery’s Oils
👏 J3 Belts & Bearings
👏 McIntyres
👏 Strain Engineering
👏 McBurney Transport
👏 Muldoon & Co Accountants
👏 Taphouse Bellaghy
👏 Castledawson Inn

This is just the beginning — we’re planning more fundraising events between now and September 2026 to continue supporting and the fantastic work they do.

Thank you to everyone who’s helped make this possible 💙
